Not only has he put a lot of work into his car just so he could show it at the National Convention. He has worked on getting us as a group a lot of really great pics of the cars at the show. The best part of the pics is the fact he took the time to include the year of the car and the owners name. It's great to be able to put a persons name to the cars we all want to drool over. Good job Ken! :classic:

OK you Zed Heads, here's the situation. I have a '73, California spec, automatic (which is currently being swapped out for a manual). I'm replacing Weber DVGs with '72 SUs (I have the whole intake and related equipment). The question is should I just install the SUs on the '73 emission laiden intake, or is there an advantage to using the other '72 intake parts? If so which parts can be removed or replace with '72 parts? I live in rural TN and don't have to smog the car (infact the smog pump belt is not even on the car right now).

Would like to know what others experances have been with not having a front plate on thier Z in California. A we all know the Z looks a whole lot better without the plate but I would like to know if anyone has been given anything other that a fix it ticket? And if so what were the circumstances? Owen K

it may be that the mechanic that runs the shop is either not willing or just more purist type of guy but i asked banzai motorworks whihc specialize in Z repairs and such about the 2.8 turbo swap to my Z. well he says you will have to basically hack the wiring and you wont end up with much more power then a good well built 2.4??????????? is this guy nutz or what i thought the 240 had 150 net hp and the turbo had 180 or am i wrong and basically for some good 200 hp just turn up the boost ? whats wrong with this pic. i am wanting to do this but wiring will fry my mind. is it that hard to rewire or not. i have a complete engine, all sensors are present but thats just it. ill…

What would be a fair price for an uncracked '70 Z dashboard? I see one on ebay with a starting price of $350. Mine has 2 good cracks in the middle and not interested in a dash cover.
