I just got a 1971 240 and was looking at the engine and noticed that it had the air injection system that was not hooked up. Is this standard on a Federal or California 71?

How many 240's sold in Australia, UK(not many) and USA? Just interested. Any thoughts on how many of the first 500 RHD 240's survive?

i went to a Z enthusiast shop today and looked at 2 sets of headlight covers for my 240Z...one was $150 CDN...it was just a piece of plastic with some mounting holes...when i put it up against my car they didn't fit that nice and there wasn't a rubber gasket or anything around the cover...the other one i just looked at and didn't bother looking for more than a minute cuz they were $600 CDN!! the guy said they were the OEM headlight covers from japan...they looked sweet though...had a chrome trim around the edges... is there a certain brand of headlight covers that fit really well?...i've seen many pics with the covers and they have a rubber moulding around the edges and t…

I've finally got a hold of this old game called "The Real Car Simulator - Nissan Edition". It has a whole bunch of Skylines and Silvias and 300ZX's... and its got a couple of nice bonus cars too - one being a Z432 Fairlady. Anyway, it's a pretty decent game based on the same graphics engine as Gran Turismo 2 and the whole game is only 8 MB. Too bad it's very hard to find in any computer game store... I've never seen it in any shop. Anyway, I can post a screenshot if you'd like... it's quite a trivial yet fun feeling thrashing a Z with a clear concious

Hey, I was just wondering the bolt pattern and offset for my 70 240z. I want 17's, would i need a 40 or 45 profile tire? also, i know 205's will fit, but I was thinking like 205 up front 225 in back. 7.5" rims. What offset, and what will fit? Thanks.

Does anybody have wheels like these? Or 14x7 wheels in general? They're on their way to me, and I want to order tires, but I'm not sure if I want to go 205/70-14, 205/60-14 (big difference in overall diameter) ... maybe a 215/60-14 ?

Hi all, I have a chance to buy a one owner 1970 240z for $600. It has some minor rearend damage and the front wheel bearings are frozen. It has a small amount or rust but is in generaly sound condition. I have priced the parts I think it will need and added some extra and I figure it will cost $11000 to restore. I guess my question is would this be worth the time and expense?

I just picked up a 72 240z yesterday. I will try to get some pictures posted. I do have a question. There is a box on the inner fender well that has a the speedo cable connected to it then to the speedo. It also has a vacume line connected to it. The care is in good shape with nice floors and a clean paint job. It will be a great daily driver.

I am picking up a 240Z in a week and have ordered the parts CD and would like to know what you consider the best repair manual that you have used. I have one for my 620 Pick-Up and it could be better. Thanks
