ok I know I said I might not put in a new stereo, but might not also means might. So I went to Crutchfield to see what in-dash cd player/receiver will fit in my car and got zero results returned. Can I get some feedback as to what cd player/receiver you people are using? I'm not looking for a monster system, just something current that I will be able to hear over my new exhaust system ::.

hey all im finally back on the forums but i need a question answered. i want to make my 71 240z a turbo z which engine can i swap so it will be turbo also do anyof you have one for sale or know anybody with what i need to do this for sale cuz i wanna buy the engine and put it in and drive i know its not that simple though... can i put a 280zx turbo engine in the 71' 240z ? without problems plz let me know because i needto know this asap because i had a chane to buy one and the guy sold it because i told him i couldnt use it after a friend told me it wasnt possible . also i cant ge ta v-8 because my uncle wont let me since this is my 1st car. also i want turb…

I bought a used sway bar that I thought would fit but today when I got under the car , the hangers on the body are inline with the front differential mount. The bar is stright where it transverses the car and it looks like a sway bar needs to have a bout a 21/2 inch bend, in order to clear the mount. I havent seen one on a car and what I am wondering is that maby my car , being built 8/73 which is after the model year change that I may have a '74 body pan. Any one out there with a '74 , if you could take a look at the rear sway bar and let me know if there is a bend in it where it passes the drive line. Thanks Gary

For a head rebuild, I would purchase new valve guides, new valve seats, new springs and required gaskets. Of course, I would have the valves refurbished. Does anyone have an opinion on other items that might be needed?

She says the garage "is a pig-stye." So guess what I'm doing today? I don't get it...you can TOTALLY walk through it and she can COMFORTABLY park her car next to my two Z's. OK...so there's a couple piles and there is generally a litter of tools around the Z's...There's even white carpet where she gets out of her car. ...Off to 'tidy up'.... steve77

Is there a way to tell what kind of needle/jets I have in my SU's. I purchased them new from MSA and as far as I know they are probably stock. The block is an L28 and I plan to do some work to it. Should I change to Gross Jets?
