When I fill up, my gas gauge barely reaches the "F" and after about 2 miles it reads 3/4. I've also taken it below the "E". When I fill up the most I could ever put in is about 13 gallons (capacity is supposed to be 16 gallons). My question is; How do I calibrate my gauge to be more accurate?

I don't read any car mags, so maybe this info is really old...but I just read about the Infinity G35. Now, when Nissan told me they "would never build a 350Z in a 2+2", I believed them. Now it seems like it was kinda a 'white lie'. On one hand, I am somwewhat happy that they did it under a different label and therefore have not 'watered down' the Z line. But the other half of me screams that it is all a marketing ploy and there will be a bunch of 2+2 Z clones running around. Its almost as though they have stooped to the level of American auto makers with their diversified 'houses'. In the past, I admired Infinity and Lexus for keeping the lines very pronounced betwe…

Hi, I've been looking to buy a an inexpensive project car for about a month now, and I just can't make up my mind on which one to get, heh. I just have some general questions about the 280ZXT, as I want to better understand this car. 1. How much do these cars cost typically (150+ mi, fair condition)? 2. What do they run stock (QM, 0-60)? 3. Did they all the turbos come in a 5-speed? 4. How hard (time/money estimate) is it to tune these cars to reach mid/high 13s? 5. How much money would it be to just swap a turbo engine in an N/A 280ZX? 6. How do they handle, and is there aftermarket parts for suspension etc... (Also is there a decent aftermarket for performance parts?) …

As I was leaving the MSA show, I heard a very disturbing rumour concerning our fearless leader, Mike. Let's just say the whisper started with 'Z' and ended with '32' and included a sum of money exchanging hands. What a traitor... steve77

I have a recently purchased 72 240z. I just noticed it has carbs off of a 73. The junky Hitachi carbs (Flat Top). I want to put the originals on, but need a few answers first. Do I need to replace the manifold to fit the older carbs? Anything else I should know about the carb switch? Thanks for your help.
