hey there, I have a zed bonnet with no vents in it, but I'm told Zeds that had AC had vents to release extra heat buildup. Firstly, is this so? And if it is, will I have any problems running a 'plain' bonnet? Thanks

Well guys, for years I have been fighting the exhaust fumes in car especially when letting off the gas.I went to the mountains and the rumbling down the hill about killed me.It became a mission to resolve the problem.I knew my rear hatch gasket was the normal place to go.But,I had repalced that only 4or 5 years ago and the car stays in a garage. It was like new.I reglued suspect areas.Siliconed the hose grommets, tail light gaskets, floor drains, everything.Well the other day I found the fix. There are 2 screws behind the latch catch on the car .They hold the tag light .Removing those will allow access to the catch adjustment screws. They are behind the tag light, you can see th…

Mornin' I just rec'd the 240Z tune-up video from Z-therapy and it's excellent...Thought I'd pass along the word, it has a bunch of good information. Also, has anyone gotten any advice as far as rust problems in the passenger front frame area from the fire wall forward, I picked up a '73 240 with a decent motor, the car was cheap enough so it didn't bother me. My question is, can anyone give me some advice on how to try to fix? One more thing, a friend gave me some aftermarket springs he decided not to use, they are blue...Race Tech I was told, but aren't motorsport springs blue also? Everyone have a great Sunday and thanks for the replies...

How many cores does the stock radiator on my 72 Z has? Which swap from another Z with 3 or 4 cores should I use? Is it long to do and is it kinda custom fit? Mine on my car looks (dry), so I think it would be a good idea to change it and/or have it rebuilt before this summer? What do you suggesst guys?

I'm interested in finding out what were the standard rear ('side' in American?) vision mirrors for the various years of the 240Z. I have seen Australian 240Zs with metal mirrors on both the front quater panels ('fenders' in American?) on some 70' and 71' 240Zs. I have also seen the same metal mirrors on the driver's side door and even on both doors on some 71's. I noticed that most 72's come with plastic mirrors on the doors that are painted the body colour, whilst 73's seem to have similar pastic mirrors (I'm not sure if they are the same shape, they seem a bit different) in black. I have no idea what the story was in the U.S. but I'd be interested in and appreciative…

As the time grows nearer to the start of the much anticipated annual MSA extravaganza, I get this feeling like I'm unappreciated. I own an early 71 with the original "great pumpkin" paint scheme, that would hardly warrant a second glance. I mean it's lowered, and handles like a go kart from Hell, but no one except my local Honda owners can appreciate the time and pain staking research invested I have invested in my Z, I favor road racing, so all my efforts are primarily focused on tuning the suspension and brake upgrades. For the most part, you cant see it. I can't picture myself dropping mirrors under my car for the public to take notice when I park. I can hardly tolera…

hey all, Just found this site yesterday. It's great. I have just recently gotten into liking the 240z. My question is what should i be looking at in terms of getting one. I'm in florida. I'd like to get a daily driver that i could use as a project car. Eventually, i'd like to have a turbo monster. Any suggestions on the condition of the car(rust, engine, etc..) that i should look for would be much appreciated. Thanks, kellan

I recently moved a number of private calendar events to public. I want to make sure the moved worked like it should. Would someone mind verifying that they are visible? Thanks.
