Sunday February 17, 7:15 PM EST TOKYO, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Japan's leading car audio equipment maker Clarion Co Ltd (6796) said on Monday it received an order to supply 200,000 car navigation systems to Nissan Motor Co Ltd (7201) for three new automobile models. Clarion, which already supplies Nissan -- Japan's third-largest automaker -- with its car audio equipment, said its DVD-equipped car navigation systems will be installed in Nissan's new car models to debut in the business year starting in April. A Clarion spokesman estimated that a navigation system priced around 100,000 yen ($753) would translate into a deal raking in around 20 billion yen ($150 million) for its …

Anyone out there have any expierence painting a stripe down the middle of a Z car? I have a good paint job now but would like to have a stripe down the center. First what to strip with (sandpaper? strippers?) Do I really need to take the paint off? Or is there a good paint that will adhere with little prep work over the existing paint? I plan on doing this myself (i am brave) mainly because of cost, all the quotes I have received have been at least 500.00 bucks. Thanks, Zlishall

When you're working on something cosmetic, especially interior stuff, always start on the passenger side. Two reasons... errr... actually there's only one: After doing whatever it is the first time, you become a seasoned veteran and will do a much nicer job the second time. Right? The second attempt will be on the side that you will see most often. Follow me? Otherwise, you make your mistakes on the driver's side and any slight imperfections you may have will be staring you in the face every time you get in the car... mocking you... taunting you... brazenly accusing you of shoddy workmanship... And then one day you find yourself cowering behind the dumpst…

I just joined as my "little" brother is a member here and showed your site to me last night.:tapemouth I just had to mention you Keith. You all have a great looking site. If I happen to pick up a Z someday, I'll be back a lot more, as this is an excellent site for the hobby. BTW, I belong to www.bombs-away.net. It's for the game "B17-2 Flying Fortress The Mighty 8th". It's kind of a sister site to you as it's also by vBulletin. If you're into flight sims, stop in, register and say hello. Then join in on the fun there too. Everyone's welcome. Take it easy and enjoy.

Firstly my thanks go to Mike for this awesome forum. I was thinking it would be a nightmare finding info about 240Z's until I came across this site....thanks Mike:D Smitten on Datsun's from early teens...had a 72 1200 coupe that I got as 2nd owner..shoved a 1500 in it with twins, 5 speed and mild grind...nice starting out car, easy to work on. Next door neighbour had a 240Z.....I haven't stopped wanting one since. I'm returning to New Zealand from the UK in a few months and am trying to get in touch with anyone in NZ who has a 240Z. From scanning these pages, it is very clear that some parts are going to be a PITA to find. So as I am in the UK...I might have more of a cha…

This is the new prototype Pontiac Solstice Coupe, but to me it smells of 240Z... <img src="http://209.132.49.149/images-large/2002_pontiac_solstice_coupe-3.jpg" width="400" height = "250"> Especially take note of the window shape, and the tail lights which reek 350Z. That subtle hump over the rear quarter is absolutely Z too. They've even got the chopped off back end just like the original. What is your opinion?

While Mike decides wether it will be worthwhile to incorporate a chat room on here (big Yes in my book) I was thinking of starting up an MSN list so we can chat via MSN messenger. Here's my handle: customzed@hotmail.com
