A bill to move the smog exemption up to 1980 has made it out of committee! A number of similar bills have been introduced over the years, but to my knowledge, all of them died in committee, so this is big news. There may be hope on the horizon for us 280 owners! http://www.dailyturismo.com/2016/04/coffee-brake-ca-sb-1239-moves-smog.html

I have a need.....a need to vent. When I log into the Classiczcars site and click on "Unread Content" to see what's going on in the Z community, nine of the first 25 posts are ebay listings posted by "Bender". I don't want to see ebay posts by "Bender". I've tried blocking "Bender" posts, but that doesn't seem to work. Wading through the crap posts to get to the interesting reading that draws me to the site is a less than pleasant experience. If anyone has a suggestion on how to block the unwanted posts, please let me know. I find myself coming back to this site less frequently than before this issue developed. I used to enjoy the Z content and interaction much…

I was talking to a friend this week about something I've never heard about in the past. He was telling me there are small beads that you can put into a tire to help with balance. The product essentially eliminates the need to install weights on the rim. Here's some information I've found on the subject in the Internet. Has anyone else looked into this or know someone who uses the product? https://www.bestrestproducts.com/c-100-dyna-beads.aspx

Assistant associate watercock ****-a-doodle-doo Dickinson damnation Edited out a word - just in case. Although it looks like the software completely removes/changes the word once you save the post. Gone forever. Edit - looks like he's working on it. Sorry for the last word Mike, I was ready to edit it out.

Rare for these guys to go Japanese but this recent episode features a totally original 13K-mile one-owner that earns them a quick, fat profit: Datsun Nice Car You Got There Gary loves original cars, so when he hears about a motivated seller of an 82 Datsun 280Z he hooks up the trailer and heads out. But is an all original 280Z really a collectable car?

Here's what you could buy in 1979 at my local Datsun dealership, I think I even test drove that pickup. Those Z's sure held their value! .

Hi all, does anyone happen to have a top view (plan view) of a S30 - 240z, 260z, or 280z ? It can be a photo or drawing. I'm looking to do some work with our logo and I can't seem to find a good one.
