Might be worthwhile to disable your air bags. The bigger the company, the smaller the soul, it seems. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/12/business/air-bag-flaw-long-known-led-to-recalls.html http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues

Just got back from a 2 week vacation in Japan. Went to the toyota museum in nagoya and saw my first 432 in person. Wish the hood was open though. They had on display a 1932 datsun that they said is the oldest datsun in existence. On the way from tokyo down to the hakone area I spotted a skyline on a trailer. All decked out for racing. Had a carbon fibre hood and spoiler and probably tons of other goodies. and in appreciation of all things that go fast i took a look the bullet train museum.

I have a '73 that I put together from parts. It runs great but I too am trying to get the tach working. I upgraded to the Pertronix ignition. I understand where to connect a gnd and the +12volt wire, but I am confused as to how to hook up the "current loop" I bought a spare tach, was told it was working and was planning to "test wire" it under the hood before pulling the old one out of the dash. One side of the current loop has a piece of red tape and the other side has a piece of black tape. Where do I connect the other two wire?

I'm starting to plan a garage that I will build this summer. It will be a separate building on my lot. I am thinking interior of 36'w X 24'd X 10'h. I plan to use it for work and restorations and maybe some "on-the-side" minor repairs and maintenance for supplemental income down the road. I'd appreciate any suggestions and input to help me to "do it right the first time" Everything from number of doors, height of ceiling, i beams over head, floor tie-dons for straightening, ventilation, insulation, lighting, layout, storage, etc. would be helpful.

Came across these posters , one signed by Pete Brock and John Morton in gold marker ink and with a number , the other has no signatures and does have a number on it. I see that they are still available at the BRE store for 49$ + 10$ for Pete Brock signature . Are the first 46 so called limited edition worth a premium , please advice

Could not find a find a BRE spoiler back in 1976, so I settled for a Interpart. I was told this was a knockoff from the BRE. So what's the difference.

Hi folks. New here and interested in Z cars. I came to appreciate the Z family of cars recently, after purchasing a book about Datsun from the early cars to the 280. Upon reading the book, it is obvious that the choice is a trade off. By an early 240 with rust prone body panels, but nice carbs and more desirable due to early models, or go for a 280 with fuel injection disc brakes and a little improvement on rust protection? This is a big deal question....240 0r 280?, so I am looking for suggestions and recommendations from you the experts. What about the 260? can we say the problems with the 260 are the same as the 240?There is a 280ZX near me. Body seems to be OK, but I…

This looks like a bargain: from BAT: "1973 Datsun 240Z is a longtime-owned driver in original condition apart from an older repaint and rust repair. The seller says it has never been in an accident and and is a 20-footer, and we love the stock appearance with hubcaps. Find it here on Craigslist in Charlestown, Indiana for $5,900. Special thanks to BaT reader CPK for this submission!" https://bringatrailer.com/2014/09/21/39-years-owned-1973-datsun-240z/
