Finally had a chance to try out my Harborfreight dual action polisher. I bought it in June in Houston. Upon opening the box it was missing a screw in handle...hmmm they seem to have got the extra brushes in the kit. When I powered it, it vibrated but would not spin. I also tried a composite block sander from Princess Auto. It has a complex 3 part lever for opening the clamp for holding the paper. It makes placing the paper a snap... problem is it won't hold the paper. It slides out after a few strokes. Moral of the story...beware crap from China and try it in the store first before committing.

I was in the market for a new car in 1972, but a Z was outside my budget. I purchased a Datsun 1200 coupe. I kept this car for 14 yrs. and sold it; the buyer drove it away. My boss used to call it a 120-Z.

Any body have any word about Mr.K.? After all, he is 104, and I'm sure he might have some health and age things going on. Personally, I would like him to keep on going! The world will be a sorrier place without him.

Being the first of the month and right after Thanksgiving, the crowd at Caffeine & Octane was pretty light. There were only three S30s there today. I did get the chance to share a couple of Z car stories, though. A car day is ALWAYS a good day. Enjoy the pictures: Caffeine & Octane ? December 2013 Edition (340 pictures) | Steve's CARtography
