Check out this month's NH, 35 page article on the L-series dynasty. Got NH's usual hi-def photos and articles on Bluebird SSS, Silvia, Skyline, Fairlady 240ZG, Cedric 2600, Cedric 2800, Sunny, Bluebird 1300, and a bunch of photos of L-series motors at the Nissan factory museum. Can't read Japanese worth beans but a few months from now they'll probably post a translation of the article on the website.

So I am in the market. Currently primarily interested in getting an 81-83 280zx 2+2 manual. I was thinking turbo, because you know, its turbocharged! But I want one in good enough condition off the bat to be a daily driver. Then improve it and make it "newer" as I have time and money. Talking to some friends they said I should get an N/A because of these reasons 1.) Older turbo's have significant more lag and effectively "kick in" at a given RPM. 2.) When you leave a destination you need to idle to let the turbo warm up 3.) When you arrive at a destination you need to idle to let the turbo cool down Of which one could end up finding annoying to do for a DD. Would i…

Hey guys! good to b back. just want to say to everyone who helped me with my alternator swap getting the wiring right a big thank u! Alternator is working great! I need to know how u could bypass the four wires harness to my tach. Not working, so I'm trying to get it to work again. Also is there a 6spd tranny that will bolt up to my 280z? Installing rear struts, does anyone know how much oil and what kind of oil the struts take?

Was at the body shop yesterday picking-up my neighbor's 240Z, (getting paint polished-out), and they are repainting one of the Bob Sharp 280ZX IMSA cars. It looks like the one driven by Brad Frisselle on the datsunhistory.com website. sharp Very cool!

I can't remember where it was, but I have heard th drinks like Pedialyte or Ensure are good to take on road trips, instead of drinks like Gatorade, because they hydrate you and provide balanced nutrition or whatever, without making you need to stop for a potty five minutes later. Is there a source for these drinks, or shall we discus them here? Google doesn't seem to have any related pages. I have no preference for either Pedialyte or Ensure; Pedialyte is more like a hydration drink, and Ensure seems like a substitute for a snack. ThxZ

I am looking into buying the wife a project car that she can drive around. She desperately wants an E-type, but 100k is not in the budget. But a 1967 Alfa Duetto is more than possible. have any of you guys ever dabbled in these cars? I am looking to buy one in very good shape. I plan to fully execute the buy the best one I can possibly afford mantra. But does anybody here have experience with these cars?
