Got an idea today to research previous owners of a 78z I bought about 3 years ago from a guy on Maui. He had worked at the lawrence livermore lab particle accelerator as as a technician. He shipped the car over here to hawaii and got a low tech job installing satellite dishes. He gave me a big bag of receipts and old registration cards. I went back as far as the early 80's and found what i think is the original owner now in his mid 60's on the internet. He probably doesn't want to be bothered. The car sat for 12 years and a guy by the name of Daniel Magliari's bought it. Anyone here know him? Anyways, I found him on facebook and sent him a message. He is friends with …

As some of you know my brother is the event manager for this show. He said that he has an open space in one of the buildings to display a car. It can be any kind of import or kit car but it must be a very nice looking car. If you're interested or know someone who's interested please let me know. The show is May 17-19 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Here's a pic of my 260Z turbo when it was displayed there. Chuck cbuczesk@comcast.net

I need to find someone in the southeast to restore my 1970 240Z. It was the first car I bought when I entered the Air Force in 1970. The VIN is HLS3003435. Does this mean it was number 3435 to be made? Any recommendations are appreciated. Wally Dill

This 60's Porsche has been sitting up on a hill near my house for years. I just finally got around to snapping a few shots of it.

Well, it was the first Sunday of the month. Yes, the weather was lousy, but some of us were determined to get out there. Caffeine and Octane ? May 2013: Riders on the Storm | Steve's CARtography

I put a close ratio 5-speed in my '75 a few years ago when it was my daily driver. I have decided I want to go to a wide ratio from the 77-78 cars since it is just a fun car now. I was searching around for one, but they seem to be harder to find than they were a few years ago. I called up Z Car Atlanta (since they are local for me), and they said they have a rebuilt one for $1k. the price seems fairly reasonable, but I am not familiar with these guys. I could get one and have it rebuilt by someone I trust, but it would likely end up costing more. Anyone have any dealings with Z Car Atlanta? Thanks.

T The first 4 pics are of a couple new track cars from Pierre's garage, one still in primer. Didn't get his name but the man in the blue cap, from the Bakersfield area, built the two he's standing between. check out the DIY welded stainless grill, bumpers and fan shroud. How about that wood dash? Don't know if he won anything, but should have IMO. Plenty more but I better do some actual work today.

Hey guys, So I recently bought my first 240z, which I am still ecstatic about! I cant wait to be done with school, go home, and start the restoration process. I want to document the restoration as best as I can, taking pictures and what not! Do any of you have suggestions of websites for organizing pictures or methods for documenting a restoration process? Thanks! Joey2point0
