Attended my third monthly local Z club meet last Tuesday, and I was struck by how many of the guys either own or admire BMWs. I myself DD a '95 525i 5-speed and previously owned an '86 635CSi 5-speed: Just curious as to how many of us are BMW fans as well. What do you have / admire?

Hi all, Im having trouble getting Fast System started. The other three programs work OK, but Fast System keeps giving Error code 53 when starting up. Normally I dont have any problems with this since I only use the E-FAST System and Parts Manager, but now Im looking for a distributor cap and rotor button for a S15 Silvia 2001 with SR20DE engine. E-FAST only goes to 1978. The distributor has a part number: 22100 65F12. The manufacture is Mistubishi. Does anyone know the part numbers for the distributor cap and rotor button. Any help is much appreciated.

I tried calling the Z Barn yesterday and was surprised to hear that they have closed down the business. Does anyone know whether this is just old news or a recent development? Mike

After 15 years with the company, I was layed-off yesterday. Cons: 1) At my age, getting another engineering job's going to be difficult. _ Have to see what happens. Who knows, I may have to re-invent myself... Pros: 1) Got some severence, so I have time for a job search / no reason to panic. 2) I'll have some time to complete my Z! (A/C hose, fix minor details, install the 5-speed). 3) I'll be able to finish my neighbor's Z cosmetic refresh. 4) I'll even be able to go sailing every week through Summer!
