well- I've done what i could in finding out why the car won't idle without the choke. I've pulled each of the Mikuni carbs out from the L28 and cleaned all the jets, but it still won't idle for some reason. I have fuel pressure, but i suspect it may be a fuel related issue as the car had been sitting for around a year. I did treat the fuel and added some new fuel along with some octane boost. So i figure it's time to take it in to a shop who know's what they are doing . I was hoping someone on here could point me in the right direction...a shop somewhere around LA county preferably.

Pretty sure I had a problem trying to get one of these years ago. I am missing the thremostat housing/water outlet or inlet. Bolts on side of head in front inlet manifold. Can I get one new or is it wreckers only?

A wreckers near me has an L28 in an early series patrol available , it's the short wheelbase version I think I saw its got an N42 stamp on the block but its missing the inlet manifold (sold) but everything else seems mostly there. My question is were the patrols injected or NA and he wants $500 for it, worth it? Personally I think he's at least $200 too high :disappoin

Anyone got some reasonable rear external handles for a C110 240K sedan they might part with? These don't need to be anything flash just functional as they are for a mate with a competition car. Seems the rear doors have to be operational !!

My 29 year old niece has been traveling alone in Southeast Asia and now Australia. Somehow she hurt her foot and got a nasty infection. She is in Rabina Hospital and has had four operations so far, with plastic surgery yet to come. The cell phone she has does not make or accept international calls. Her mother has had limited contact with her through a nurse. We are trying to get her a phone that she can use to keep in contact with her mother. Short of air freighting one from the U.S., does anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

Just joined this forum in the hope that someone might be able to give me a lead on any 240k's for sale. I know its a long shot as I have been looking on and off for a year since seeing a great looking black car at the show in Knox over a year ago. I would also consider 180b coupes as well if I could find one. I have always liked the Nissan models having owned a modified R33 GTR when I lived in the UK and fancy taking a classic style and updating it with modern running gear. I imported my skyline from Japan and have been in touch with the agent I bought it from as I would like an early GTR but they are mega bucks. Considering selling one of my other cars to fund one in the…

I am looking at rescuing a c110 240k sedan from a bloke I know. Has been sitting in his yard for a long time. Think it will not cost much to get it off him. Looks like there is plenty of rust low in many of the panels, roof down to below windows seems ok. Chrome strips have almost rusted off bonnet and boot. I am not afraid of rust repair and have a good mate to paint. Are there any things or places I should look for that would make a car like this unrestorable? Would prefer to find something better condition but my options seem to be very limited. Thanks

So my car just arrived from Melbourne and now I need to join a club. Have been trying to contact qpdc for weeks without a response. Tried Facebook and their website, no go. Does anyone have any alternatives or know someone in qpdc that I can contact. So keen to get this beauty on the road again.

Ok so I thought it was time I started a thread of my car. Firstly, the background. I was looking around for a C110 and had been previously burned using that well known auction style selling mechanism (you know!) and was becoming frustrated with the way prices were climbing for absolute buckets of s%^t. Anyways, I was driving my local streets and saw a car up in a driveway but didn't think much of it. My brother in law then called me a few days later about how my search was going (he's a toyota bloke, he can be forgiven that sometimes...) and asked had I seen the datsun around the corner from his place. After some back and forth I realised we were talking about the sam…
