Hey everyone, name is Ben and here is my 1976 240k Sedan. It is my daily atm, gets driven everywhere but will soon be off the road for a bit once I get some more parts together and flog off my other car. I bought it off an old lady for $1700, un sighted just over the phone with only a few dodgy photos. I'm in Brisbane and the car was at her mechanic in a shed on the Gold Coast. I went down with my mate Leon (ovenfood on here) and paid a deposit and saw how clean and nice it was. I jumped in my mates truck (who also has a 240k) and went and picked it up the next day. Hi Guys, As some of you know, i have had my car sandblasted a while ago.. The sandblasting removed 99.9% of paint, however left all of the interior body sealant intact. I have to say the overall condition of the car is pretty good bar what i would call the usual rust problems, however I spent most of yesterday scraping the factory sealant out of the panel joins in the cabin, i am glad i did, The biggest issue was in the front corner of front footwells where the sill meets the firewall and A piller kick panel area.. Once i pulled the sealant out, it showed that there is a direct gap right into the wheel well.. i can't remember there being sealant on the outside so i assu…

G'day all, Just been offered a 78-79 C210 4dr (1 owner) at a price I simply can't refuse.... Does anyone know what the Japanese search strings are for the C210 for yahoo Japan ?? Need things like tail lights, fender mirrors, c210 flares etc etc Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's still not a C110 but that can always be a future car. When I pick it up photos etc will follow. Should make a quick road/track car still...L24 power!!

Hey guys n girls, Thought i would start a thread bout the 240k i purchased a few months ago. I bought it off ebay as a second chance offer ( person who won the bid did not follow though with purchase, so owner contacted me and asked me to make an offer) After settling on a price i drove over to Wagga Wagga to pick it up. After seeing on this site what other users were saying about the car i was a bit worried on what the condition of the car was going to be like. But overall i was really quiet happy with the car, yes there is a few usual rust areas and some dents but i bought this car wanting to do a full restoration, so being almost 100% complete was more important to me.…

Anyone else thinking of going down this path? Seems an easy way to have a fairly new bullet proof LSD Tranny & Rear Diff Parts It's the ones from the Hybridz forums and Kev from JNC Hakosuka fame has them as well I'm thinking easy way to get a good LSD in the gearing i want (3.9)

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a Datsun 1200 Manual Pedal Box would be suitable for a 1974 240K? I'm wanting to convert my Auto to a Manual, and I'm unsure if these pedals will fit. Are the pedal boxes from dirrerent Datsuns compatible? Can they be modified to fit? I don't want to buy them and then realise they don't fit. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Hi guys just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where I can get a replacement heater tap for under the dash as mine is pretty corroded etc. Is there a different model datsun which uses the same one? I looked at universal ones but most of them are a slightly different setup and need to be modified to work. I found the ones on Import Monster, these will be the last option i guess if cannot find something else as they work out to be roughly $130 delivered I think when I worked it out, might not be much to some people but would rather put it into other places on the build Thanks in advance! How do you think these would go? http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewitem?itemId=181041321107&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=14494925318 I was given supposed s13 coilovers to transfer to mine but I went down to datsport and they told me the ones I have wouldn't fit... Has anyone done a coil over conversion and is it difficult. I have the larger diameter 240k brakes. So was looking at the hilux/magna setup. I've read a couple threads on it but none were a straight answer on what caliper and disk off what model etc. Cheers Terry
