Hey guys. This is my 1976 Datsun 240k. Has spent the last year slowly getting some new stainless extractors and exhaust. Currently getting some love with my brother to get it trucked up to FNQ.

Hi all, Yes, yes...I know, join the queue...as per my post on ozdat and other forums, I'm looking for a Datsun 240K Hardtop (cooler) or the right Sedan (more practical - but I really want the coupe), as close to original condition as possible. Can't afford an immaculate resto (several years searching, haven't seen one advertised anyway), definitely don't want a project, a good daily runner is the target. Prefer a South Australia car, but send me a PM and let me know where you are (in Australia), what you've got and what price. Cheers, Duane

Hi guys, These days you never, or very rarely see a 240K on the road, but the other day I spotted one, wonder whether it belongs to anyone here? Spotted in Bayswater, Vic. It was a silver coupe with jelly bean mag wheels, looked fairly straight and in good cond, I just couldn't make a U turn in time to follow it! It was sitting on a flat bed tow truck, heading south down Bayswater Road. I'm really kicking myself now that I didn't make more of an effort to follow it! Be interesting to see if it belongs to a fellow from here! Cheers

NEVER tell a panel beater to take his time. 23 months in the making. Now the fun part, puting it all back together So much more money to spend. Only problem with new paint is everything else has to be brought up to standard. Man I love my JDM tail lights PM me if you have a bonnet popping cable or some extractors. Thanks to my fellow ANZACS I already have a mint dash top from Melbourne.

Anyone out there have any experience in the whole RB26 head / RB30 bottom end with trumpets??? Saw it in a mad Z in speed hunters and liked the look of it. Just want to know if its stupidly expensive. Been doing a bit of reading on forums so I kinda have an idea Bear in mind I reckon I can handle a L24 because I have a manual, but this would be WELL beyond me! Ideas???
