hey guys, my dato is sittin in my shed fallin to bits, iv got an N/A rb30 that i ripped out of a vl, just picked up a rb25 head over the weekend, hope to be getting a turbo r33 5 speed plan is to mate all this together and throw the engine and gearbox into my dato, dont plan on doin a huge build body wise, jus want it do handle somewhat (shall be having a good read through the suspension threads) and have a bit of poke under the right foot my questions are 1. would anybody be able to give me some info on puting this engine into my dato, ie: what has to be modified to get the engine in, what has to be modified to get the gearbox in 2. im sure this would have been done befo…

Gday, ive been lurking here for a while getting lots of ideas and am a member of a few other old datsun websites so you may have seen some of this before but here goes.... It all started around the end of june last year, i was browsing gumtree at about 1 in the morning(not sure why??)when an add popped up for a 1973 "yonmeri skyline"it was nearby and only $600 but would be delivered sight unseen(very rusty!!). The ad said not to call before 12pm the next day, so i waited until then and gave him a call at about 12.15. Hello everyone, I thought I would put up some info about powdercoating I had done. I had some bits and bobs soft blasted, primed and then powercoated black, they came up an absolute treat. Like new almost. All I did was wire brush them and a bit of a sand and a good wash, got them back 4 days later at about $80. I can do other peoples parts too, the men that run the shop are a good mates Dad and his friends. All old school hot rodders. Black and White are done every day, small turn around. Any other colour and a bit more time is needed. Cheers, Ben.

Hey guys, Was thinking of using heaps of kill rust to stop surface rust and just rust in general to prevent it getting any worse. You guys use kill rust in a pressure pack for this or is there something else I should get. My poor old SSS pulsar (young compared to the cars in here) needs a touch up, and I thought I'd practice on her before I go near a project car
