O.K so here it is, my new car (well, it was new in 1974 ) Datsun 240K Came off the road and has been in storage since 2002, gave her a hose off today, did the once over on the engine bay too...looks great (but forgot a pic...) Here are some pics. Bummed about the Auto trans, Oh and the pop up sunroof, but Hey! it is a 70's car!! Interior is next to clean, needs new carpet then do the work for the roadworthy cert... Needs some minor rust repairs around the rear screen, and lower 1/4's but should pass o.k with a touch up and blow over of colour for now.. hope you like.

heres a few pics of my coupe ive been working on for a bit over a year or so .it had a lot of rust both rear quarter panels around the entire rear window as well as the door seals and boot . it is now rust free.the coupe is under high fill and about to be painted .i will post more pics later this week after top coat .

Hi guys just some pics of my 240K sedan currently a work in progress.... When I got it, rust was pretty bad around the rear screen, this section cut out, re-fabricated and welded. The car was quite a mess, ie bush basher, but was very straight and completely original manual car. I've just finished spraying last week, original colour in acrylic (yep but not too bad for a home job, I'm pretty happy with my rub back, cut & polish skills) , standard L24 completely re-built as well with 5 speed, I'll be fitting a single Weber downdraft 38 DGMS to it. Now the car is sprayed and back home, I can start work on the underside & interior, brakes, bushings, etc etc. The …

Up for sale is a rear tail light panel to suit Datsun 240k coupe's. Overall in very reasonable condition. Appears to be very straight. Need's general restoration (paint). There are no rust holes, only minor surface rust around edges, refer to photo's. The centre badge area and were the pin holes are located for the Datsun 240k GL badge, have been filled in and smoothed over. $85.00 ono. Local pick up available from Victoria Point, Brisbane. Has anyone used one of these kits? I hear they are a bit hit and miss. I'm curious to know what they actually include and what fits correctly, other than the boot rubber. I'm specifically interested in the rubber that runs on the underside of the brightwork at the top of the door frame in the coupe. Is that included and does it fit nice?

Hi Guys, I have FOUR (yes as in 4) Datsun L24 Skyline (240K) engines and a complete auto gear box that need new homes. The guy that I bought my car off threw them in as part of the deal but unfortunately the cost of freight (to Sydney), is too expensive. I am willing to give these away for free and I’m chasing a Manual G/BOX with peddle set as my car is currently Auto and I’d love to convert it to manual SO if you are willing to help out then I’d appreciate the swap otherwise whoever wants them can take them. I want these to go to an enthusiast who’ll use them and not someone who will simply onsell them (I COULD HAVE DONE THAT). I am a firm believer that car communities …

Hi guys, I'm looking for a set of wiper arms for my 240K with nuts. The pair on my car are odd, I reckon one is from a Zed and one from a K. I saw a set on YJ but the price is stupid.
