Hi everyone, thought I'd join up and share my new purchase. Bit of a back story first. I was driving home on a Sunday a while back when the city to surf run was on here in Perth, due to detours I ended up taking a route I'd never normally take. Well I saw the old girl just sitting on the verge, they do stand out, so I left a note asking if it was for sale. Not expecting much, I get a call on Monday. the Lady explained it was the father in law's car and he had since passed. The sons didn't want to sell it, but at the same time they were going to do nothing with it. She suggested to them they should sell it on to someone who would take care of it, as the father always did…

After much consideration I have decided to sell my Project. I have a 1974 Datsun 240K coupe which I planned on converting into a C110 G.T.R Replica, complete with an L28 stroker motor and triple Mikunis. Unfortunately I don't have the time for this anymore and am selling this hopefully to someone who shares a similar passion. I bought the car in 2011, and it has pretty much sat in the garage all this time, I start the engine every month, and drive it up and down the driveway to keep things circulating. The car has very minimal rust and is in amazing condition for a 40 year old car. The car is not registered and would need to be towed, but it is driveable. It is factor…

So this is the reason why I sold my old 1976 Kenmeri skyline. This is the Datsun 240K GL (C110 Skyline) that started racing back in 1973 in the Australian Manufacturers Championship, under the FIA Group C Classification. The car was campaigned by the Datsun Racing Team, after the car was recieved from Nissan. This car is believed to be possibly the ONLY Datsun 240K to compete in Australia under the Group C rules in the 70's. The vehicle has competed as such historic Australian racetracks such as Adelaide International Raceway (AIR), Surfers Paradise International Raceway (SPIR), Sandown Raceway, Phillip Island and Bathurst throughout its short Group C career. The vehi…

As most of you know, I bought Kents '73 GT a while back. She was shipped up back in 2010 and sat sleeping in my garage for most of the time since. The progress that has been made has mostly been done in the last few months. That being said, I'm going to start at the beginning. So here we go; Here you see the day we met in person. This is at the docks in Long Beach. When I went to pick her up we were escorted by security the entire time (new rules since 9/11). As you can see she was parked next to a race spec Evo 8. When the guard realized I was picking up the other car, he asks me "So, you payed to have that shipped from Australia?" My response "Yep" His repl…

Just b4 they changed in 1973. I know my car is "technically" a (73)... Is what I have more rare than the average US Datsun 240z ? Its all original Orange with back spoiler. Looks like stock Factory ??? Any specific info would be much appreciated. Ive read a lot of in general stuff. Trying to pinpoint where mine fits in with the history. Thanks
