Hey guys, long time lurker on here and I obviously rarely post but I'm having an issue with a 240 K that I'm in desperate need of finding a secondary VIN location on. I searched my arse off but I haven't been able to find any information regarding the matter. It turns out that one of the genius previous owners tried passing the car off as a K"P"GC110 by modifying the "H" to look like a "P" on the stamping on the firewall and there has never been a secondary VIN plate attached. Obviously this is going to cause a bit of a red flag when we register the car and have the VIN inspected. My question is does anyone know if there may be another VIN stamped into the frame rails…

Hi Guys, yesterday i took the day off to give the 240K a serious wash. we ended up spraying the underside, inside and engine bay with degreaser, scrubbing as best we could then pressure washing it all. Bottom came up really well. for the insides, we ended up washing everything out with a hose, including the inside areas below the rear quarter windows. We noticed this area didn't drain so well (probably why all these cars rust here), and after poking around (both fingers and compressed air), it doesn't seem that this area actually has a direct drainage hole to the outside. The water seems to eventually (assuming not blocked with gunk) make it's way into the bottom doo…

Hey all, as discussed I'm looking to get a buy organised for some fiberglass bonnets rather than getting them from www.restored.jp. We need a minimum of 6 bonnets to avoid the $1500 setup cost. They can also do carbon etc if you wish but I'd need to get costing on that at a later stage. Costing is approx $560 per hinged bonnet. Interstate shipping may be possible as the website says they ship Aus wide so I'm sure they can sort that out. I can give them your details and pass on the information for costing but I'm not interested in organising freight myself sorry as I'm a busy man http://www.motorsportfibreglass.com.au/products.php So..who's in? I will not be going ah…
