I picked this up yesterday. very happy with the condition. no rust in the body or doors at all. only the obligaory bootlid. the plan is to get it registered on S plates in QLD. probably not restore it at this stage, just keep it original and running. definately not a parts donor car. :stupid:

Hi guys, todays JNC features a video of a japanese tv show segment with a 2000GT-EX speeding through the streets.. as soon as they get in the car and starting speeding through the streets, there is a shot of the car overtaking a van at 1:16, it looks very much like the car has a naca style duct on the bonnet http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/blog/2010/07/09/friday-video-c210-skyline-turbo-vs-bomb/ I spent a little time googling but couldn't get a clear picture to see if they were standard, thoguht i would throw it out to the brain trust it might be an interesting addition to the 240K if / whenever we finally get CF/FG bonnets made Kent

Hi, I'm watching some rear springs on flea bay, but the user only wants local pick up, any one wants to do me a favour, and pick it up for me, and mail it to me, item is in "THOMASTOWN, VIC, Australia", I'll pay for the shipping, plus $20 for your trouble. also he wants COD, if you have paypal, or give me your bank details, I can move the money. sorry, only for users who have been here for awhile, no new ones.. been stung before. Nigel

Hi guys, I wasn't sure if you saw this or not, but, I just created a new all Datsun classifieds websites. If you're interested, I also added a section for the 240k. While I'm not too savvy on the market down under, I thought it might help. Mike

I have a 3-gear 'Hollinger' style gearbox which has become surplus to my needs. it was built by Ivan albin in 1997. It's done a few miles, but still works well. it was rebuilt about 4 years ago. its a brass syncro box. If anyone is interested, please let me know/make me an offer. new ones are about $3000, but i'd be happy to take maybe $1300. I'd prefer it went somewhere here than onto fleabay. cheers, Matt.

I recently went on a Europe trip and managed to go racing at Silverstone, Spa and the Nurburgring. Here is a short video of the GT-R at Silverstone I posted a lot of pictures on another thread for those who are interested. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38869 The convertible sits neglected in the garage with this trip draining all of the funds allocated to rego & engineering, it was worth it though. Doing an 8:59 round the ring is one of the most exciting things I've done in my life so far:cool:
