It moves under it's own power now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=la8d3EbubgI Sorry about the dodgy sound, I'll record a better clip when I test the line locker. I've included a couple of shots, one of the steering wheel I chose, which I don't think I will end up using as the original wheel is hard to beat and one of the dash fascia I might be using. I say might use as my Father who built it didn't really listen to me when I asked him to make it in dark red cedar not whitish silky oak. The silky oak just doesn't match the wheel (new or original) or the paint job. I'll have to stain it to the right colour or get off my arse and make one the right colour myself. So all i…

Hi, another easy DIY, I brought this from Super Cheap ($15), it's a perfect fit, no screws needed, it just sort of 'clips into place' make sure you get a sealed type of radiator cap ($8), so the water sucks back into the radiator when it cools. Nigel

Hi, I was wanting to buy a new dash mat for my newer 240K that I got other week, I tried 3 different Auto shops in my area, and it appears no one makes them anymore. Since I'm a DIY type of person, I made this, the carpet cost $15 from a carpet place, the guy said it was just 'car carpet', and the black cotton and edging was about $8 from Spotlight. About a hour and half later this what I made. Nigel

I currently have a heap of parts which I need to get rid of. basically it this: 2 Door parts: I have a complete 2 door car, which I'm wrecking out. The engine is on ebay already and I will sell the interior on ebay as well. (its complete and really good) but other than that the rest of the bits are in need of a good home. the parts I want off the car are suspension and cross members etc, and exterior parts such as chrome trims, guards and doors (or what's left of them anyway) etc. everything else is no good to me. 4 door parts: Basically it looks like I have bits of 2 dismantled 4-doors. There's loads of the Chrome trims in various states, a couple of tail light panels, …

Hi all, I need to sell my superlites as I have to go 5 stud with the diff I am running and didnt realise this earlier. Ideally I only really need to sell the rears but I am willing to sell the fronts as well, would make an excellent chrissy present!!! Haha These are brand new have never been driven on with the rears never even having tyres fitted. These were a special oreder and I waitied 10 weeks for them as the centre colour is a custom colour. They are great looking wheel and I will be re-ordering the exact same just in 5 stud. I have trial fitted these wheels to my K and can inform you that with the wheel flares they are a perfect fit, and there is plenty of cleare…

I have just ordered a radiator from Aussie Desert Coolers, the reason I mention this is that Norm (the owner) had just made a radiator for another 240k 2 weeks ago. It surprised me a little as usually when I order stuff I get the "I haven't seen/heard of one of those cars for a while" it was good to know that the aussie 240k scene is still going strong.

does any one know or have a close idea as to what the corner weights or even the front to back split % of a 240k is? reason i ask is im building a 240k track car with a rb25de in it, the 25de much to my surprise actually lines up sweet with the factory 240k mounts and such introduces a little dilemma for me, being a race car ideally a 50/50 split would be nice for handling but now its so easy to bolt it im im pondering if i need to goto all the effort of moving the engine back approx 30cm or so as its going to be a bit of a job (sump, mounts, tunnel, firewall, moving in car bracing so i can get the gear stick some where and so on). looking at where the engine sits in rela…
