Hi guys, Ralph moore auto glass has failed to come through on his promised price of around $300 for each new door glass to be made. Does anyone else know of any other avenues to get new coupe glass for under $1000? Ralphs cost in the end to have them made up was about 5k for 5 pair to be made from scratch. I'm not really happy with just getting the glass polished as there are a few deep scratches in them.

Anybody know if rust repair sections are available for the 240K (C110 Skyline) in Japan? I don't think I'd find any in Aus. I have rust in the rear sills before the wheel, and i think it would be difficult to make up a patch with the correct contour , where the "waveline" (I've heard it called that so seems as gooder term as any) splits in 2. The lower part of the line goes right into the rusted section. I think ie would be easier to buy a section if it were available, rather than to try and make one up.

Hello! Well I've got a new front bumper for my car. The old one is still nice but it has a few scratches on it and paint etc. and the chrome is old. Anyway, my problem is getting the indicators into the new one. They just wont fit! I've attached a whole load of pictures for you to look at. Therre are two places where it looks like the indicator unit wont fit. Firstly the upper bit where it actually bolts on, the ANGLE here is wrong. The flat part here should lie flush with the top of the indicator unit. Secondly, the angle of the lower bevel part is different. On my old one it comes back at a reflex angle to run parallel with the angle of the top part. On this one it i…

Wanted to buy toyota brake calipers for a Datsun 240K / Magna brake upgrade. Front brake calipers of a toyota 1994 + forerunner Hilux LN,RN, VZN, KZN 106/130 HZJ75 Landcruisers The caliper must be a 4 piston type, each piston must be the same size, not the 2xlarge / 2xsmall type must have 'S13 ' stamped on the caliper (above the brake line fitting), not S12 the S13 suits 35mm vented discs thanks, Nigel

If you recall the tale of "The Riverstone Wrecker" you'll know there is one sedan and one coupe in this yard. Both very sad examples now, been there about 20 years....but the owner of the yard has been storing a few 240K parts inside them. I managed to retrieve a seemingly OK brake booster from the coupe (what a pig of a job that was! any tricks to this??). It has an odd grill. It's the C111 JDM grille (I dubbed it the "Belt Buckle" ) with a "2000 GTX" badge and the 240K GL badge as well...probably added by the Aussie owner later. The car itself is standard Aussie delivery 240K. The grill has slight damage from the car hitting something fairly flat at low speed so the bum…

Yesterday afternoon the buyer of my '71 picked her up. It's been a long process as he had to kind of rush to put the funding together over the last few months. I had been alright with it for the most part but that last moment watching her leave on the trailer was a bit sad. I know it's the best decision right now, but you can't help to wonder "what if?". As a couple of you know I bought Ray's car a while back, and I still have Kents car as well. I will be doing a bit of work on Kents '74 and then selling it as I will be keeping Rays car for myself. I have a few plans for the '73 and afterwards will be looking for another Hakosuka. My plan has always been to have bo…

OK, I know this the 240K sub-forum and I'm technically in the wrong series - but at least the Skyline link is there........... My 'new' car came out of its container at Southampton docks today, after its journey of almost 5 weeks from Japan. The container was loaded on the ship in Yokohama, and it called at Tokyo, Yangtian, Singapore, Hong Kong, Karachi, Jebel Ali, Rotterdam and Hamburg before finally being offloaded at Southampton. The vessel was called the 'MOL Paradise':
