Hi Guys, has anyone looked into upgrading their rear Uni joints to CV joints? i got a quote of almost $2000 to get this done by a workshop, and seeing as there are some american 240Z/280Z quick and easy solutions to this issue, i was wondering if any of these would work for the 240K?? 280Z stub axles into 240Z : http://www.magshooterz.com/280z_stub_axle_swap.htm Z31 CV joint upgrade to match 280Z Stub's: http://www.magshooterz.com/z31_cv_conversion.htm my question is (of course), would the 280Z stubs fit in the 240K arms? and then would the Z31 conversion work for us?? Just wondering if anyone here has some 240K/240Z/280Z parts handy they can measure and compare, or…

Alright guys, I am looking for info on the visual differences between my 240K and a GT-R KPGC110. I know about the flares, spoilers, mirrors and grille. What I am after is any panel, headlight or taillight differences. I know a lot of these parts will be hard to find, but I want to gather everything to make it a good clone. Thanks Brian

I'd been looking around for a second car, as the skyline still isn't back yet and wanted a car that i could park at work all day, and leave the skyline at home for the other half to use. (her car got written off by a P plater while her mum was driving it), also would be a bonus if it had a tow bar. So there was this 240K that had been advertised for the last 6 months or more in the local classifieds newspaper. Was originally $1600, but more recently it had dropped to $800, but the rego was due. When I started looking for a car it had been re-registered for another 6 months, and the asking price had dropped to $750. Makes sense to get a L6 series datsun, as I have a few…

So I finally got my hands on the wheel I had been looking for for a while now (a Nardi!) thanks to our "man in Japan", Miles. Thank you so much to him!! I bought a hub adaptor kit, Autotechnica, for Nissan. The indicator cancel pins were too far out though. Very odd. Since I bought it from a shop owned by my dad's friend, he modified it for me! Very nice of him. So now the indicators cancel! Awesome. So I fitted it today, but I am left confused about how to fit the centre horn button and ring. Firstly, I plugged the wire from the Boss to the single spade on the back of the horn button, but it doesn't work. I'm no electrician, so I've probably done something obviously wro…

Hey all, Im heading to japan in early july, and was interested in catching some motorsport and history, or perhaps a combination. Im heading to Tokyo for the first week, and the Kansai region for the remaining three and a half. I was particularily keen to have a look at the nismo museum and any other worthwhile motorsport/historical events. Any reccomendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, motorsport related or not :rambo: Tom

I was going to tag this on to the original post, but decided to start a new thread instead of muddying up the original thread about the QLD Kenmeri. Alan posted a chart showing the C10 serial number sequences. The sequences intrigued me because there were several suffixes that I had not noticed before. On the KPGC10, there are two series listed, KPGC10T and KPGC10TN. The "T" designation calls for the use of high octane gasoline, while the "TN" designation calls for the use of regular gasoline. Since ALL GT-Rs came with the S20 engine, why do you suppose there would be a series designated to run on regular gasoline? Was there a low power variant made that could be run …

Hi guys, does anybody know anyone who has a yahoo auction account in japan? i drilled the holes on my front fenders for the mirrors that i had, but i can't now for the life of me find the rubber that sits between the mirror base and the fender.. i am not holding much hope of finding it (i stripped the mirrors to prime the cases and i managed to loose the bolts that go through the centre, and the rubbers). without them, sit at too much of an angle not sure what mirrors they are, from what i can tell they are original nissan electric ones, they seem to be very similar to the skyline ones, but i don't think they are.. any help with what they are would be appreciated. it c…
