A little while ago with help from Toyota san and Alan Thomas, I sent a CD and report of our April 2006 "Back to Bathurst" event to GEIBUN-SHA (publisher of the famous Nostalgic Hero magazine). Well, the October issue that just came out has our little story featured! It's only small but it is there, and hopefully is of some interest to some of the classic car fans in Japan who will read it. I have attached the scan of the article. If any kind souls here would like to translate what it actually says (I'm guessing it's just a succinct version of what I wrote) it'd be much appreciated!

Was wondering if anyone can help me get my car started, Its an R30 skyline with EFI'd L24 engine it in, i seem to be getting pretty good spark - but not sure about the fuel, I cannot hear the fuel pump when car is on accessaries or start, i also removed the line from the fuel filter (in the engine bay) there was fuel in the filter, but i was thinking fuel should wizz out when i turned the key to acc or start? this did not happen.............. Anyone got any suggestions?

i'm curious on what front brake rotors will fit the 77 GC210 skyline? i've hear that the 240z rotors will work, but would like to get this verified. Also...my GC210 has rear brake drums. Does anyone know what brake drums can I use of my GC210?

As brought up in another thread that was moved over to the Z side, maybe we should change this area's name. This is two-fold: one, to recognize the growing diversity of the cars here (C10, C110, C210) and two, to reduce mis-posts by others thinking that this is 240Z vice 240K. Suggestions ?

Hi Guys, i picked up a set of C110 adjustable strut tops out of japan (thanks Miles!), but i found out today, that they do not fit my C210 adjustable struts (apparently they need some major work to make an adaptor to get the top spring seat to fit). Does anyone know i adjustable C210 strut tops are available anywhere? or should i go down the path of the whiteline adjustable universal tops, or just get my C110 ones modified.. I don't know which way will be cheaper

Here and there I have come across references to strengthening the rear suspension arm on the C110 but no details. I have yet to simply bend one without a crash and am curious about what is the supposed weakness and where the failure area is. Sure, they bend when you hit something going sideways but then there's usually plenty of collateral damage too. Can anyone enlighten me ?

I just bought a R30 ti skyline this weekend and have to make room :nervous: Going against my new mantra of Datsun Conservation (hoarding) I'll start wrecking my 240K manual sedan and 1600 manual sedan, could part with my triple webers 40dcoe 18's on a prince manifold or zed manifold. Also got a Celica for sale 1985 GC $700. thanks Steve.

I came home today to find 2 nice big surprises! 2 huge watanabe boxes with my nice shiny new wheels in them!! I ordered a set of 16x8 (0 offset) and a set of 16x8.5(-6 offset) Watanabe R wheels. The wheels were ordered as magnesium coloured with machined silver rims Unfortunately when i pulled them out of the box (man are they LIGHT!) they are all magnesium (so no silver finish). Not sure what is going to happen yet, i have emailed the guy who ordered them for me to see what the best course of action is anybody know somebody in sydney who would be able to machine the rims and polish them up? i have no idea what it would cost to do, but it may be an option to fix them …
