Just thought I'd share this. http://www.drive.com.au/editorial/article.aspx?id=11211&vf=2&bg=24&pp=1 Pity they didn't mention anything about its racing success in Japan. Your thoughts?

I am rather proud. Not so much of the outcome, but because I actually FINISHED it. I am known to my family and friends as the model kit collector. I have a whole heap of them that I have never finished building. My 1:12 240ZG was going to bring an end to all that... but it got held up when I was up to painting the shell. I think I cleared every hobby shop in my city of its Tamiya maroon spray paint! Still not enough coverage... but can't find any more maroon paint! Anyway, I decided to "just put the wheels on" my 1/24 C110 sedan the other day. I got a little carried away and finished it! I am particularly happy with how the "chrome" appears against silver. Unfortunatel…

Can someone please look up the part number for the indicator switch assemblies used in the C110 and C210? It appears that C110 1973 are different to C110 1974 - 77. No idea what the difference might be to a C210! Unfortunately the C110 and C210 models are not covered in the various CD parts book copies I have. thanks Art

Bugger, i was around at my mates place yesterday who is doing the engine and gearbox mount for me. I had also asked him to mount the R32 GTR radiator and intercooler i had bought for it The radiator was to be mounted behind the support and the intercooler in at the bottom of the support with the intercooler piping going into the wheel well through a hole cut out on both sides of the front apron.. of course when i sized up the intercooler (call it wishfull thinking i guess), i didn't realise (well i do now i think about it of course) that the front bar mounts go right through where i planned to have the intercooler bugger i am stupid now it looks like i am going to h…

Hi Guys, I know there are a few people now who have done or are doing RB or SR conversions. I got my car back from my mechanic friend, with the engine and gearbox mounted, but i am a little concerned about how low the gearbox is on it. He mounted the engine very low in the car (to help with centre of gravity), the sump is roughly 5mm from the cross member (we are going to have to put in spacers, this is too tight i think). With the gearbox, he got the original gearbox x-member, cut out a section of the middle and then welded it up sitting around 1.5 inches lower (all box sectioned with steel) and around 2 inches further back. He didn't modify the transmission tunnel as ap…

I have a pair of rear brake drums that came spare with my 240Z when I bought it, but were lost in the deep dark cave known as the "garage" some time ago. I found them again the other day and thought why not swap them into the 240K? They look fairly identical except the Z has heatsink shims around the drum. Before I go ahead and do it, is it ok??? I don't see how it could be a problem, but I thought I better ask. Here are some pictures. Both are marked with MAX. DIA. 230.0MM, 9.055 as shown in the second image.

Fellas, Couple of little items I found yesterday, may as well sell these, looks like the Datsun days are over... 1 x coupe passenger seat black reclining lever knob, not damaged at all. It is free if you collect, if postage req'd, let's call it $5.00. 1 x 240K sedan/coupe tow bar assembly, inc tow frame, tongue, ball, nuts & bolts, VG cond. $50. If anyone interested I also have the sedan lower sill mouldings L&R, free to good home, again I'd have to advise if postage req'd, but I doubt anyone would want it. Cheers ps; good luck with the flares guys, hope to see a few GTR's rolling out soon! Just an add in, my phone no 0433 761 432. James

Guys, I have located a company in Melbourne Australia that has a mould to make the four wheel arche flares. These are the normal bolt on type as used by Alphadog. Kyteler and I are both keen, but I thought I would post a question wether anyone else was interested in getting some made. It would be easier for the company to run off the required amount. The cost $264 (including GST) per set. (Prices have gone up due to raw materials such as oil) The company accepts cheques, money orders, COD and direct BankTransfers. If you let me know if you are keen within the next two weeks, then I will get him to make them, pass the companies details to you and you can contact them…
