My car has been reasonably trouble-free since I bought it, but one thing that continually seems to stuff up is the fuel pump. I've bought 3 new ones now... but it's having the same problem again. It's weird, I'll describe it. Upon starting the engine (seems to be the same whether its cold, warm or hot) the fuel pump will pretty much immediately start leaking fuel. I was told the first three times it was just a broken seal so I have just replaced it but come on, the problem must be originating elsewhere, surely? As soon as you start driving, the leaking stops. When idling at traffic lights or in a car park it seems not to leak either. Just on startup. Do you guys have any…

Okay, I'm offering this up to the 240K group first. I have gotten a DVD with parts manual files on it. It is a copy of the DVD that Nissan Parts uses - basically scanned maunals in PDF files with Japanese menus. I will make this available to you for some ridiculous low price to cover my time, postage and CD. I CANNOT MAKE A COPY OF THE WHOLE DVD, as I have no DVD RW drive. I will only make copies of the manuals that are of interest/use to you (Certainly you don't need to have a manual for a 1969 Nissan Caball truck). So, here are the ones for the 240K. Remember, these are for Japanese spec cars, but most of the parts would fit your 240Ks. If for nothing else, it woul…

well guys, i just have to say, it continues to amaze me how easily 1990's components fit onto our beloved 240k's! this coming weekend i am planing on taking the road car to a mechanic friend to do some fabrication etc, things like mounting the R200 Diff, recaro SR3 seats onto the factory rails, and mounting the rb25DET engine and gearbox (along with intercooler, radiator supports etc..) since i have to hire a car trailer for the transport, i figured i would have to try my best to get the engine, gearbox and all the bits i would need atleast in the chassis for transport.. so i spent a couple of hours on the weekend manuvouring the engine/box into place, and bugger me...…
