hey guys Last weekend i bought a 76' 240k, (posted it in my ride section) Just got a few questions about some things i will get started on, as im new to the datto scene! now i know parts are going to be hard to come by, but so far from what i can see.. -2 front doors would be good to get hold of as these are rusted out. no big deal as im replacing other rusted out areas with new metal -the rear seat is badly torn at the top as well as front seats are ripped. (reupholstered?) -rear garnish left hand side chrome strip is needing to be replaced -i have got a set of twin SU's off what i beleive a 240z. are these worthy of putting on as the motor will be coming out and freshe…

Hi i'm new here and new to C110's, I bought a C110 Hardtop a few weeks ago and thought you guys might like to see it. I've had to tidy up a few things including minor bodywork and have removed the mudflaps for a cleaner look, I'll probably put on a decent exhaust and some old school rims next. If you are wondering what the thing is under the front drivers side bumper its just a scoop to feed air into the engine oil cooler.

Hey Guys and Girls, Im looking to buy a Datsun 240k coupe like the photos below, as I am wanting to do a restoration on a car, Im wanting to know what they go for in reasonable condition (rust in normal 240k places), and a total rust bucket (no interior, rolling shell type thing). ( By the way im new to the site, ive been looming over the site for a couple of months but never actually made an account until today ) I hope you guys can help me a little with the future of my restoration with a Datsun 240k c110 coupe. Ever since laying eyes on my first Kenmari Skyline i always said "one day I will have one" and I'm sure a lot of you that personally know me can remember me saying that. Well now that I had money to burn I was ready to start seriously looking for a skyline. Luckily I have become good friends with some skyline owners over the last couple years that had some importing connections. After getting in touch with importers I figured I was going to have to wait a long time to get my hands on one of these beasts. Over the past month there have been a couple beater C110's that were up for sale in Australia but nothing that really captured my attention. Luckily From all of my connec…

Well i am in the process of pulling the under side of my coupe apart and hoped someone here might have an idea what was available from a place like superpro; or what is interchangeable with 1600's etc. Figure this could be a good resource for all in the future

So at the moment I'm trying to sort the mess of my brakes out. The car came with r31 brake adaptor dodgily welded on and I want to replace with standard drums. The welds I think will have screwed the face that the drum sits on. So I removed whole k frame out paddock car but can't get the drums off! Soaked studs in wd40, tapped around it, levered with crow bar etc. there's the 2 threaded holes on front of drum but there's nothing to remove? Am I missing anything? So I'll prob have to change the passanger wishbone, due to the great welding, but what other options do I have. Any other drums a straight fit or any ideas how to get them off Cheers

Hi guys ,Im glad I've found a 240k site! just dragged this 73 home , itching to get started but have to finish another resto first (has to be ready by march 2014).Will be lurking around here trying to learn as much a possible . Lots of great info and thankyou for all the tech and where to buy what contributions. The long term plan is GTR clone but i must say the rear 1/4 cut is final! The 240 k needs a total resto , rust in sills, rear 1/4 ,boot is gone and bonnet isn't much better. Its auto complete and drove on and off the trailer. The original color is a silvery blue/ purple tinge (got to find and learn to identify codes) 3/73 year model which makes it the same vin…
