Hi Guys, desperately need some advice! Today, i got the front brakes back on (i had taken them off, cleaned them up, seals are okay etc.). Previously i have removed the rear brakes, and again cleaned them up and seals are okay. I have bled all the lines, running about a litre total through the complete system, so it is free of gunk etc. as much as i know.. The brakes were still very spongy even after 10 minutes of pumping! As soon as you turn the car on, there is absolutely no pressure! we even tried pulling the master cylinder apart and put it back together (it was sticking a little initially, but seals etc. look ok). At first we tightened the locking screw on the m…

Very nice car, quick too! This is the other KGC10 in Sydney...NOT mine! I have met the current owner (he imported it) quite a few times, he has helped me out mechanically with my C10. He is a very competent Mechanic/Tech whose business/workshop specialises in all facets of performance Japanese cars. if you are interested give Nathan a ring. 1972 Skyline GTX for sale.

After thinking about plans for my own car today, i started to wonder. How are all the c110 guy's cars going at the moment? It seems like things are a little stagnant on this side of the forum, apart from a few users who are regularily active [im probably one of the stagnant ones at this stage]. So i guess the purpose of this thread is to document how eveyones' car is going and what their coming plans are for it...[i havent seen kyteller (michael) on this forum in ages]. Oh and it would be great if we could get a c110 register going in australia, as every day another c110 is butchered for those bloody heartless 510 bastards Cheers, …

After looking through some stuff, I really like the 240k's....is this the USAs B210? or is there just nothing equivalent over here in the States? Older Nissan/Datsuns, even non Zeds are pretty good cars, imo. Good to see you guys doing some stuff to the pretty cool 240ks.

Hi Guys, A friend of mine was telling me the other day that any pr-76 cars were not produced to meet any emmisions or noise controls etc. (no cat or noise level requirements) and that if your building a car, even if you put a much newer engine into the body, the emmisions and noise levels are still based on the production date of the car (rather than the engine).. Is this true? it certainly explains why many RX3's etc that get around are really really loud, but i would have thought that had this been true, they would base it on the engine date, seeing as this is what produces the noise and polution anybody got any ideas? if the states are different, NSW info would help…

As the topic suggests, I'm considering fitting a later model steering box to the 240K. I'm led to believe that the C210 power steering box has a much faster ratio than the standard 4 point something turns lock to lock in the 240K Has anyone done this, or does anyone have any info about the swap? Will it fit? Is it safe to run without the power steering (I imagine you just plug the fittings) Cheers. Peter
