Radiator repair 1 2

Well, my radiator sprung a leak yesterday. I will probably take it to a radiator repair place tomorrow if I can. I am just posting this to ask you guys is there anything you would like to share about this job? I've never had a radiator repaired before but it seems simple enough. Is there anything you've learnt from experience that I should keep in mind though?

Hello! I have noticed that the roof of my interior is pretty dusty especially around the edges, and really could do with a good clean. Apart from taking the whole thing out to clean, is there any particular method you'd use so that you get a decent enough force while not stretching the material. I know, sounds simple enough just to use water and a cloth, but I thought there could be a trick to it . . . :cross-eye

Hi guys, After my car has been in the paint shop for 2 weeks, I come home to realise my brake lights are actually permanently on. I fiddled around with the pedal and it doesn't seem to be that.. so I've taken the fuse out for tonight. Do any of you guys know what could be causing this problem :stupid: or where I should start? I thought the most probable thing would be just the pedal switch (if that's how it works) not de-activating... Ideas?

Hi All, currently converting a 4dr 240K GL (1976) from auto to manual using a 240Z 5 spd gearbox. My question ... is a 240K coupe auto driveshaft the same length as a 4dr 5 spd manual driveshaft? Been hunting around for a 4dr manual one that will be what I need but cant locate one, the only one that I know of is a 2dr auto driveshaft so I would like to know it that would fit... Thanks in advance, Cuong

Hi guys, Has anyone got a spare, CLEAN numberplate light for a 240K? I only really need the lense, they're the bits that usually go all brittle and dull from exhaust. Cheers!

Well, from having none, now I have a surplus I have a factory workshop manual for sale - the dark blue cover one. It's a bit grubby with greasy finger marks through it, but is complete and not falling apart. This is the Nissan manual, with wiring diagrams, alignment data (for straightening a bent chassis) and full rebuild spec for engines, gearboxes, diffs etc. What am I bid for this wonderfully useful piece of literature? I thought I'd offer it here before putting it on ebay (where they regularly fetch high $40's, and sometimes into the $50's) $40 and consider it sold. (although I'm open to offers)

G'day fellas, Been a while seen I last posted but I have some greta news, well for me anyway! :lick: Buying another 240K coupe tonight, 1974 model, white (and re-sprayed in 2 pak last year), absolutely 100% straight it's amazing, 100% original inc motor, interior immaculate. The car is automatic and two spots of surface rust along the rear screen. Now the price; $400!!! How did this happen you might ask? Well long before I sold every imaginable 240K part I had, along with my coupe, I saw it not far from home in front of someone's house. I spoke to the owner, it's his Mum's car and he used it every now and then for work. Anyway I left my number and hadn't heard from him u…
