Guys, Thought it were more appropriate to put this in here than the "For Sale" forum as a lot of you wouldn't look there! This is a genuine KPGC110 front grille badge from Japan, in as new condition. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2495175300 If you're going to make a GT-R replica, this is for you.

Gday all, Im in the market for some rear quater panel Skyline badges to fit a c110. Also, perhaps some smilarily placed 'gt' badges if possible? And at a long shot a rear light assembly panel 2000gtx badge? Any help appreciated, Regards Tom

G'day everyone, I think it's about time that i introduce myself. I've been reading this forum for quite a while but haven't bothered to post anything, but i'm about to start work on my 240K. I bought my coupe from fellow member James (JMT240KGTR) a couple of months ago. I'm now planning on replacing the L24 and 3-speed auto with the L28 and 5-speed man. that came with the purchase. The motor will recieve a bit of attention, with plans to change the pistons, get the head shaved, some mild porting, twin 240Z SU carbys, cam, etc. etc. After that I'll start on the body. My overall plan (pipe dream, maybe) is to re-do the front end (bonnet/guards) in fibreglass with flares inc…

Hi Guys, Went to try mounting up the RB20DET (NICS) gearbox today, it looks like it might be a pretty good fit, no cutting the floor or bashing out the tunnel!! I presume that there is meant to be a gearbox mounting rubber that sits between the gearbox and the crossmember.. does anyone have one lying around that they want to sell? just thought i would ask before hitting the wreckers.. thanks Kent kent@project240k.com

Hi Guys, i managed to get an article describing the wiring installation of an RB20DET into a C210 Skyline (thanks to Jim), complete with EFI, ECU etc.. one of the problems they faced was that the ignition on signal was interrupted (i assume when it gets switched back to on) and caused problems keeping the ecu running.. they mentioned they had to convert it somehow using relays.. any ideas what this is about or how to get around this? i know i will hit this problem very shortly!

Im wondering what type of petrol most of you use for your L series motors. I know they mostly adapt to unleaded quite well, but ive been told that its quite a dry fuel, and can lead to valve seat recession. Im currently using unleaded in my l24 and ive not had any problems, however, a friend mentioned to me that there are various lead or zinc based additives that can prevent vsr. How often would you add a product like this and is it necessary? Also, despite these engines not being designed for unleaded, is 98 octane beneficial, due to it burning cleaner? Any help would be much appreciated. Tom
