This is from Skylines Australia forum It's a 1977 240k GL Automatic sedan. Car is in good mechanical condition and was last registered on the 10th of January 2004. Body is in reasonable shape with no rust. Minor dents in every panel. Interior is good except for dash which will need repairing/replacing. VIN is L28235044 I'm located in Canberra, Australia and will take any reasonable offer. I will also trade for a Toyota Sprinter in any condition or an AE71 Corolla sedan in reasonable condition. Just put these up, you won't find them anywhere except Japan, and then you'll be paying more than this (I'm making a loss at this price). http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2487931304

Wow, I'm so happy I've finally found a forum for 240k's that's not in Japanese. I bought a 4-door 240k GL a few months ago and I really need to get off my arse and start restoring it. I'm planning on putting some sort of late model engine in it but before I even think about that I want to get the body totally straight and painted. Eventually I want to have her painted a pale yellow with black Watanabes. Let's hope this place can keep me motivated. I can take pics tomorrow if anyone's interested, but she's not too pretty just yet.

Hi Guys, just thought i would let you guys know that there is a 1978 240K 4 door at Pick and Payless (Blacktown in Sydney). it has been in a NSF accident Interior has been pretty much stripped (especially once i got the dash pad), the engine is gone, as are the rear lights etc.. Diff and rear assembly is still intact, fuel tank is there, rear doors and windows are there, front and rear windscreen is there I will probably be going back there tomorrow if anyone wants anything. If anyone else knows any around, might be an idea to post them here, help each other out!

If anyone wants a straight rear panel for a 240K (actually came off a 2000GT) I've got a spare one here that I just can't keep. It's dent-free, but unfortunately pretty rusty. You'd have to sand the whole thing back and maybe fill some of the spots where it's bad metal all the way through. I just thought I'd offer before I throw it in the mini-skip. Be quick though.

I hate to invade this forum for this but it's just part of an ongoing search for a wheel that I've not been able to locate. Did this wheel ever show up on any of the Australian Datsuns?

I was watching a Yahoo Auction in Japan that ended just yesterday... This grille started at 20,000, and ended yesterday at 100,000 yen. That's approx. $1,262 AUD. I've attached a pic. The link is http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f27000495 Just in case you thought your GT-R replica was gunna be easy :dead: Note this is genuine not repro, and steel (that's what I've been told they were made of anyway). I have a front grille on mine that cost a fair bit less than that, but it's FRP. It will have to do!!!!! FWIW
