I'm looking for this little stainless steel part for my windscreen wipers. The other day I took them both off to polish them. However, some of the little parts are pretty bad after 30 years. After a good polish they came out well though. However, there's one bit that's bugging me with its dirtiness. Have a look at the picture. I was wondering, is there anywhere I can buy these new (not a generic hardware store one), or has anyone got a good clean one spare they could part with?

Heya, I have a copy of this, and I highly recommend it. It's got great diagrams about everything to do with the chassis/body. This is where I got those wiring diagrams, Michael http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2479087535&category=32063&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1 A bit expensive... but FWIW.

Fellas, I may be able to source the above from another supplier. As I can't get my hands on the original moulds anymore, this gentleman has suggested getting a ballpark figure of how many sets of these would be sold if he made moulds up from my old flares. Apparently making the moulds is expensive, so he won't bother doing this for just 1-2 sets. An expression of interest would be good from anyone who would purchase these. I'll then provide him with how many sets people want and he can decide from there whether it's worth his while. By the way, I was able to buy mine (set of 4) for $140 last year, not sure on the going price this time round. Feedback appreciated, James.

I noticed this ad this morning in our newspaper. It reads 1972 240Z attention all Z lovers. running condition , brown for sale whole or parts, needsnew owner and tlc. garaged $900 or best offer. Even though I have a 77 280 I'll have to admit I'm tempted! The phone # is (203)382-0305. This is in Connecticut and the first I have seen in the paper for a long time. If anyone is serious in the car and not just curious I will try and help if I can.

I've decided it's time to get rid of a few of my cars. I simply don't have the time and money for all of them. And as much as I would like to keep the 240K, it's on the hit list to go. It needs paint, but it has a good rust free body except for minor front end damage (radiator was not damaged so it was not a big impact), and comes with a good straight bonnet and bumper which I bought for it.. has fibreglass flares (not GTR style) and rear spoiler. It has a Rover/Leyland 4.4l all Alloy V8 with Supra 5spd (Dellow conversion). Engine is in good condition. QLD Transport approved conversion (documentation supplied) and previously registered in QLD with this engine. Holley car…

Hey guys My passenger window rattles a fair bit and so I took off the door panels today to see if I could tighten them up (the driver one does a wee bit too so I thought why not do them both at the same time). Anyway, erm, now that the interior door panels are off, how do I tighten the window mechanism thing so my windows dont rattle? :stupid: By the way, if you haven't already I suggest you remove the rubber plugs which plug up the drain holes in the doors :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: Most of mine were already removed (thank goodness) but the ones in the middle of the door weren't. I also cleaned out the insides of the doors and the attached picture is what came out!!!

How come there's not much of us 240K guys posting where's everyone gone? well anyway Yesterday I started my car and lifted the bonnet and I heard pinging noise, sounds like when you shake a can of spray paint. I think i can hear the noise stronger just under the rocker cover. I just only heard this noise yesterday I use unleaded and sometimes LRP but I dont use this car that much....

Hiya My glovebox light used to have a mind of its own (came on sometimes, other times didnt), but now it doesnt seem to come on ever. I guess it's a simple job of cleaning the metal surfaces, but getting to those surfaces is another story. Is there any 'proper' way to dissemble it? Has anyone done this before? Here's a picture, although it's absolutely shocking... might give you an idea.

Hi everyone, Jim here, 48 year old married with 2 boys, confirmed Skyline NUT. I can't believe what I have found just in this forum! Now I don't own a 240K, but I have owned a few Prince and Nissan Skyline GT's.I expect most here will appreciate the connection to the 240K. As the cars went years ago, I still maintained a strong interest in the '65 to '73 era of the Skyline. ...and what do I find here? Princes, Z432's talk of PGC10's KPGC10's, KPGC110's....Fantastic!! What actually got me in was a recent thread on a conversion of a 240K to a GT-R clone, an idea I had that I now realise is not so original. Geez I never knew so many people outside Japan were aware of the hi…
