For future reference, here's a site outlining how the tail lights of a C210 work. This is exactly the same as the 'GT-R' style tail lights for our C110's. http://www1.linkclub.or.jp/~ackn/any/tail/tail.html (this is probably why the outer globes on my tail lights are dual filament. One for parkers, and one for tail lights. Both sets I have must have been modified so that all four rings light up on parkers - I'm not complaining!)

gday everyone, I first found this site cause I’m a bit of a Z fan and have friends who own and race 240 and 260Zs. I joined up a while ago when I saw some discussion about C110GTR stuff, and have had a bit of a chat with Lachlan about some GTR bits and pieces for my 240K coupe, but I’ve never got around to posting. But now that there’s a 240K section I thought I should say hi. My 240K coupe is patiently waiting for a restoration. I bought it as is almost 2 years ago now, with some minor front end damage, stuffed paint, dodgy flares, and a 4.4l alloy V8 with Supra 5spd :classic:. It’s a rover based engine (which was based on a Buick engine) out of the Aussie Leyla…

To those that have responded to my first posting. I am new to this type of communication. Would like to be able to show some photo's but not sure as to how to do it . Can some one email me private is okay and tell me how. To answer some queries about this car. 1/ It is body i.d. kpgc110 (which is origonally for the GT-R0 however as the Japanese (Nissan) built cars in those days they either ID. the car for a model and then discontinued that model, or they used another model and up-graded the mechanical. This is evident with my car of which I have documentation from Japan. It should have had an S20 but because it was an export was refitted with an L20 and twin Solex carbie…

Thought this might be of some interest, an authentic KPGC110 Skyline GT-R for sale on Yahoo Auctions. Looks to be in great nick, with the original 14x5 steel wheels for that 100% stock look. It's even got an S20 sitting in the front. http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f17932912 Oh yeah, $1 USD is approx. equal to 111 Yen. $1 AUD is about 81 Yen. You do the maths.

Gents, Converted my car to 3 speed auto over the weekend. Took it out for a drive last night and to work today and the damn thing overheats, BAD. Now I've retained the same thermostat that was used with the manual box, but I'm thinking along the lines of longer warmup times for the auto-incorrect thermostat ie too long to open. I'm using the clutch type fan in good condition (doesn't spin freely when warmed up) and the radiator is good. I've also bypassed the heater for the time being, need some new hoses for that. Engine is L28, slightly modified. Can anyone shed some light, my brain is tired!:classic: James

Well I finished the car on the weekend, apart from some minor interior items the car is done, well almost.... Spent the weekend removing the engine/gearbox from the sedan, change the rear main seal, converted the driveline to auto trans, fit the engine into the coupe (after the crane decided to tilt just for fun), fitted tailshaft, new brake mast cylinder, bled brakes, discovered the speedo cable wasn't there! so had to look for a spare one and still doesn't fit properly, fabricate a 2.25" exhaust, fitted original K extractors, and a heap more. Anyway, start the car, sounds great and looks it too, suddenly dies from lack of fuel, end up discovering or "theorising" that th…

I have the Original Ownership documentation which covers my cars history in New Zealand. It was Imported to Auckland, NZ. As a used car in July 1975 w/ 11000km on the clock. From what I discovered from the most recent previous owner, it originally belonged to a guy who was in the Armed Services, this is confirmed by several stickers still on the cars front and rear windows, inclusive of a series of RSA stickers as well as an NZ Airforce parking permit and a King Edward Barracks Parking Permit. There is also a NSW registration sticker on the front windscreen that was an expiry date of October 1975, which means it was still registered for use when it was bought over t…

Bought a triple Weber manifold today, the bloke told me it was off a late sixties 2lt skyline. Figured it had to be a L20a and would fit my L24 head :cheeky: wrong! Can anyone tell me any info on this or other sites I should contact thanks Steve

Hey there guys, I can get an R200 LSD from an R31 Turbo Skyline, now.. theoretically the powerplant has changed, did that also include any changes to the drivetrain or would I be good to go with an R200 from an R31 in my C110? And if it all adds up, what other bits and pieces would I need?
