Hi there, Looking to add a trustworthy and expert detailer to the rolodex. I don't have much experience here, and worried about going to a normal detailer with a vintage car. Any pointers are welcome! Thanks, all.

Got a text from our cousin who is at a local Nissan dealer said "It's here". Since the weather is clear I took mine down. Yes, I drove it! Had no trouble doing a little fishtail accelerating on the freeway on ramp.

Hi Guys, I took out everything to clean. Have installed the passenger side correctly no issues with alignment. On the driver side when i roll up the glass it comes out of the channel on the outside. Anyone has any idea how to handle this situation? Is there a problem with installing the glass below in the regulator or the top door channel itself? any thought?

In the process of putting my car back together. I have always been a big fan of 3M yellow weatherstrip adhesive. I picked up some of this stuff on amazon and really like it for places that the 3M may get messy. Small pieces like the outer hatch seal or where the window channel curves and wants to fold in. I use these little micro brushes and just hold it together for 20 seconds or so. It is cyanoacrylate, but has a better consistency than regular super glue and is black.

I have some factory vinyl I plan to install in my '70. It is in very good shape except for a section on the transmission tunnel. It is a strip about 10" tall along the floor on the passenger side. It is unusually stiff and wont lay flat against the jute even after I glue it down. I have tried using Meguiars Back to Black to soften it up but that didnt have any impact. I thought about Vaseline or maybe even shoot it with a hair dryer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

The diameter of the hatch emblems fit the barrel clips I have received. The two fender emblems i think are way too thick to even try to put the clips etc. Do they come in different sizes? or should i leave the clips off for the fender emblems?

Hello all! You may remember me from a few years back, I was mostly just lurking though. I finally got my S30! It's a 1978 280z, with a 5 speed, 69k miles, factory AC (still running R12!), dealer addon cruise control and bumper overriders. It's just about 100% stock, except for the louvers on the back. Here, let's see some more pics! As you can see, there's some damage on the air dam. It happened the day after I picked her up, a tire carcass suddenly appeared from under the car in front of me and I couldn't react in time. I think I was following too close...
