From Road & Track, here's a compilation of clips celebrating the Z. Can't say I'd want some of these people for neighbors, though!

At least something good came out of that other thread. If anybody has OCD it's the guy with the giant car collection. Funny though, he has no 240Z's. But he does have some 280Z's. Apparently not for sale though. Probably waiting for them to increase in value. http://www.duncanimports.com/all-inventory/index.htm?search=280Z&dl.custom.form.id=&dl.element=BUTTON+Search&dl.formElapsedTime=5244&dl.formTrackingId=INVENTORY_SEARCH&dl.isModal=&dl.params=&dl.widgetName=Try+another+search

What is the hose size on the two coming off the fuel rails to each carb, and also on the inlet and outlet on the mechanical fuel pump. Thank you.

I had a small coolant leak I've been watching for the past year. It was getting moved around by the fan and misting up my engine bay. So today I put a GBM stamped impeller pump that was practically new. I've always considered the OE cast impeller design to be better but after comparing the area of coolant passage in both I'm thinking the GMB has more movement. Any thoughts, opinions? I'd like to hear from you guys please. Doesn't a fan with no restriction on the back side flow more air?

Yes I know it is rare, what is it worth, generally speaking? If you have an opinion, by all means please share it! Thanks, Daniel P.

I've decided to rebuild the carb heating system and I'm in need of a few items. The PO had left both ends of the tubes unprotected for many years and they were completely blocked with years of gunk. Does anyone know where I can get replacement nuts and o rings for the tube that runs between the two halves of the intake manifold. Thanks

Great forum and thank you in advance for any input. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Classic Zcar Club mobile

It'd be fun to get together sometime - even if it's a few of us showing up for Cars & Coffee down in San Clemente to park together or something. Always fun to hook up with owners and we don't really know any here in the area. There have got to be some on here from Orange County, L.A. or the Inland Empire, right?

I'm new to the Datsun 240z scene I just rescued a 71 240z out of a Ridgecrest junk yard The car is complete and almost perfect besides the half asked paint job and rocker rust. The car was originally red then blue and now silver. From the looks of it, it was worked on in 2007 ish from recipets found in the car. No paperwork no plates just a vin number Vin number is hls30-37893 Car has 280zx wheels with an autopower cage Car has a rebuilt engine with a 5 speed I'm guessing it's rebuilt because of how clean an fresh it looks with it new parts such as dist.
