   Does anybody know where to get a new gas cap gasket. Mine doesn't seal very well and I can't see spending $80+ for a new gas cap!

   Comprehensive Nut and Bolt list - help needed

   Hi - I've also put this on the UK z-club forum. I can't seem to find a comprehensive nut and bolt list I know the size is in the FSM manual, but the length and full/part threaded isn't. If we all measure our nuts and bolts, we could produce a definitive list under each section. That way we can build up a useful document? Ie Body wing to body bolts m8x25 Chassis Spindle pin nuts m12x1.25

   1978 280z engine component??

   Hello all, Can someone please tell me what this is and what it does? I was troubleshooting a vacuum line issue with my defroster and stumbled upon this. It has a line going into it but then nothing coming out of it. The line going into this doesn't connect to anything either. It terminates near the vacuum bottle canister on the passenger side. Any help would be great. Thanks

   I recently purchased what I believe to be a 77 Datsun 280Z with no title. The only tags left on it are the Vin tag on the dash and also the serial number on the firewall. Engine tag and the tag on the door jam or missing. I am going to attempt to get a title for the vehicle and would like some help determining of build date. Online I have found bill year by serial number by year but not the month. If anybody has a close serial number could you let me know the month of theirs is I would appreciate it thanks.    I just bought a 1976 280z 2+2 and received 2 kinds of keys from the seller. The first set is a key that has many "teeth" that works only on the ignition. The second set's "teeth" is smooth and less jagged and only works on door locks. I would prefer only 1 key for everything. Is this common?

   What do the 難 stickers on the back of the interior panels represent?

   I took off all my interior panels today, and I think all but 1 had a sticker with 難 ("difficult"). Was that the first character in the place name of some Nissan assembly plant? Maybe first character in the name of a sub-contractor that did the plastic? Did it mean this piece was subject to high failure rates? Anybody know? Kats?

    inspection lid clips 1 2 3

    Well my brother finally sent me a picture of the inspection lid clips he had made for me. The black ones are made from delrin (sp?) and the others are made from aluminum. They were waterjetted from solid material not injection molded. I have no idea if they will work or not until he actually sends them to me. Unfortunately, these are all he can have made for me as his work frowns upon this and he likes having a job. I will post more when I actually get them. carl

    Hello my name is Justin, I'm from the U.S territory of Guam. I own a 1975 Datsun 280z with 81k original miles, garaged kept and second owner. The car last ran in 1989 before being stored away by original owner and I happen to be lucky to even get it from him in working condition. I also own a 2002 Supercharged S2000 and a new owner of a rhd efini rx7
