Hi All, I've decided to sell my 1970 240z I recently purchased that was listed on this forum. I decided to sell this Z since I recently purchased a 1971 that is only one VIN away from my other 1971 series 1. It's currently listed on BAT so please feel free to check it out. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up. Thanks!

Since I've been a member of this forum I've read the elephant cap was from winning an African Rally but now I see that that's wrong, thanks to @kats. After reading more maybe the oil was named after the Rally?

Hey guys, I'm new here and realtime relatively new to the Datsun world. My uncle has a 280z that I don't think I've ever seen because it's been getting "restored" by some backyard mechanic. It's a messy deal, but that's not the point of this topic. I've been reading through the forums, and I know the DD question has been asked many times before, but there's a couple specific questions that weren't answered for me. To start with, I drive a 1978 MGB roadster everyday so I'm used to odd, uncomfortable, and unreliable cars. It rides awful, it leaks oil, it's starting to rust, and it's just all around a bad car. But I love it because it's a true classic British sports car…

Slowly learning everything I can about the EFI system on my 77-280Z. I'm fortunate to have a 77K mileage car that runs great, just really tired looking under the hood. I have purchased another EFI system that has been cleaned up and shaved of the EGR. Its my desire to slowly switch over things and learn along the way. . Can someone tell me the purpose of the attached water inlet under the air regulator. It was omitted from the system I purchased and I wonder what impact this might have on performance of the EFI. I have been unable to find it in the FSM. Thank you

Here is the thread that Alan T asked for. Drum roll ...please I knew your radar would be turned on with the tread on #160, so let the discusion begin.:classic: If any one has a link to the original thread started 2 or so years ago please link it to this thread. I believe Kats had a lot of ground breaking information posted on it, one discusion that I don't believe was raised was the actual production number in units per day? Over to you...........

Hi all: Like the title says, I just bought a Z! From the time I was in high school (early '80s), I've wanted one. At the time, I drove a hand-me-down '77 Celica (not a bad car, either). But I really wanted a Z. I bought a Sunbeam Tiger project back in the early '90s, and had been slowly restoring it. But I finally got tired of sinking the time and money into the car. I never did finish it. I sold it in December, and started looking around for something else, determined to buy something that was already drivable, and not in need of bodywork. My wife was adamant that I not buy another car that would sit in the shop for 20+ years like the Sunbeam did! …

At the permission of our board owners, I would like to invite all of my classic Z car family to read and enjoy my new website. It has been a work in progress for a good while and their will be a great many Z related articles (in fact I am writing one right now). I have an opinion page that I add content to every week when possible as well as a small photo gallery that will grow exponentially soon. I have articles on barn finds and how to buy your first vintage car. Please with the permission of the owner of this website, I think it will be an enjoyable book mark for some www.testdrivemylife.com Let me know your opinions about browsing and organization. I…
