Hagerty via Yahoo compiled a "10 old cars turning into collectable classics in 2015" list that includes the 240Z and 3rd-generation RX-7 as possible rising stars in the year ahead. https://autos.yahoo.com/photos/the-10-old-cars-turning-into-collectable-classics-in-2015-1423589548-slideshow/

Hello, I have been to the wreaking yard and picked up a high brake light from a 1995 Jetta. It's the same angle as the back window. You have to make sure you get the metal clips that attach to the window. It gives a high brake light that gets you seen. I am going to be installing mine on very soon. Its not LED. Thought I'd share. This is something I've only seen done with camouflage on gun stocks and compound bows, Hydro Dip Graphics, never thought about car parts.

I have been keeping steadily working on my 72 240z since I bought it back in early December: total replacement of every single thing in the front suspension, brakes, master cyl, brake booster, new lines, engine tune up and rebuilding the dual carbs- ( that was a MF'ing chore), and so on. I got to drive it the first real drive last week- and she was perfect. My god, she wanted to go. Shifted perfectly, clutch felt great; brakes were very responsive. I didn't push it above 35 mph, it was the first time out, after all. I was cruising in the 240z, following my husband ahead of me in our truck. We were about a half a mile from home and approaching a busy intersection, so I …

I have a new issue; 4 speed MT, It has become difficult to shift into reverse, feels really stiff. I did a search but didn't find anything that was consistent with my problem. The problem doesn't get bettter as the car warms up. It does't grind just really stiff, no problem with any other gear. I recently changed the transmission fluid to Redline MT90 as there seemed to be many recommendations for this oil for the early Datsun 4 speed tranny. I don't know what the PO had been using, could this switch be causing the issue? Thanks, Steve

This may be a really stupid question but I am getting new spark plug wires. Were the original wires black? blue? Anything I need to know before buying them or plugs or cap and rotor? Thanks

I finally got the windshield installed, and the engine running nicely. Today was the first day my Z has been used like a car in a long time. But still so many things to finish. The before and after pics.

Hey there fellow Z enthusiasts. Just a quick background on my situation. I've been in love with the Z series since i was about 8 years old, when i first saw the commercials for the TTZ32's and i was hooked. When i turned 19, i bought my first Z, it was an 93 NA, a year later i sold it, and picked up my 96 Twin Turbo that i still have today. From that time till now i have had many different Z's. Started with a 78 280Z i bought for 1800. Little did i know the car was garbage. It had sat outside in utah winters for years. The frame rails ended up buckling because they were rusted thru. I sold that one while i still could. Since then i have been on the hunt for a clean rust f…
