Hello All. My name is Gary. I used to post here quite a bit, having owned a '71 240-Z for about a decade (sold about 18 months ago). I found this forum incredibly helpful, and at times would see (and occassionally make) posts alerting forum members to 240-Z specific ebay auctions. I have decided to move some of the Z parts I collected, a number of which are currently listed on ebay. Some of the most interesting are: 1. Set of 4 Series 1 "D" hubcaps with original steel wheels. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151660527039?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 2. Vintage Recaro SE seats and 240-Z mounting brackets / sliders. I set these items up as…

I'm tired of crawling around positioning a floor jack when I need to get the car up in the air so it's time to look at a lift. My "shop" is a regular 3 car detached garage that doesn't have room for a two post. At this point I think it's going to come down to some brand of scissors lift and I'm interested in hearing what everyone else is using.

I'm not sure where to post this, so if it's not relevant, mods please move. I have a 2000 Lexus GS400 that I am trying to sell. Body and engine are in great shape, but it does need work as I work from home and it sits...not good. Nothing is major repair, but the winshield is cracked - that's probably scaring a few off. It's just not selling - not sure why, but partially because I've been lax in promoting / selling it (plus I had a few eBay scammers hit me up - since I've been on eBay for 15 years or so, you aren't scamming me easily). Then I thought - maybe I could get someone to trade? I'd love to get back into the Z game, even a 280Z, just need something …

Here we go again. Just because we own an older vehicle California wants to make it even more difficult on us. Please read. California Introduces Legislation to Allow Certain Vehicles to Pay Fee Instead of Passing Smog TestLegislation (A.B. 550) to allow an owner of a motor vehicle that is subject to the smog check program to pay a $200 smog abatement fee in lieu of passing a smog test was introduced in the California Assembly. The vehicle would have to meet specified criteria in order to qualify. The bill would require the fee to be deposited in the Air Quality Improvement Fund. The measure will be considered by the Assembly Transportation Committee. We Urge You to …

Here's another healthy sign that Z's and other Japanese classics are earning acceptance from the "purists": http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2015/04/20/japanese-sports-car-class-introduced-to-2015-forest-grove-concours-delegance/ Japanese Sports Cars

While my engine is out I'm cleaning up the bay. I'm worried about the rusty hardlines directly under the battery, the only section. Has anyone dealt with this before? I've found a pre-bent line from classictube.com for $255 but would be happy with more options. Thanks in advance for any replies of similar experiences. Cliff

Well, I am no longer the caretaker of HLS30-73667...with some sadness and trepidation, the new owner loaded her up and took her away. I hope the person that purchased it becomes an active member on this board. I'll still lurk, maybe one day I'll get back into the game. I appreciate the help from everyone here over the short years I participated - this board is a model for other enthusiast boards to follow.

Could anyone who has converted a 280z to triples share their fuel system with me. My main questions are did you use the fuel return line? Where did you return the fuel from? What type of regulator did you use? Did you change to a low pressure fuel pump? Thanks!
