We’ve been offering re-plated chrome tail light bezels for 260/280Z’s for about $400.00 per pair. In fact, if you look, you can currently find them on eBay for $389.95. Quality cores have become increasingly difficult to find. After 40 years, most cores are missing pieces, are cracked or the surface is so poor that plating would yield unacceptable results. Recently, after months of intensive searching, we were able to procure a quantity of cores that we likely won’t see again. We’re going to blow these out at a price we’ve never offered, $299.95. If you’ve been sitting on the fence and need a pair of “show qualityâ€ bezels, now’s the time! These sets will…

Hey guys. How do I find out where my 72 Z was first sold? All paperwork was lost in the 80s and the car sat in a bush in Nevada until I got it a couple of years ago. (Been posting bits about its resoration) But HOW do I find where its from so I can at least find some licence plate frames to match. Thanks! Polecat

Ladies and gents - I have questions regarding the 6" x 35.75 " vinyl covered panel that attaches to the interior of the back hatch on my 1971 240z's. I have seen two different methods of attaching the panel (10 holes) to the hatch - one method uses colour coordinated plastic rivets and the other method uses screws with cup washers (not too pretty IMHO). I have been told that depending on the time of production, both methods are correct. - if there is only one correct answer, which attachement method is correct ? - if both methods are indeed correct, when was the change made? Any other information would be appreciated. thanks

In the picture you can see that on the very top of the pedal there's a piece that sticks up. It has the hole in it. It has a small slit in it also. What's its purpose? Is that where a spring would go? Thank you.

Anybody got a generic source for the ubiquitous "yellow" hardware that is used so extensively on the Japanese autos? Traditional hardware is easy to find, but I'm looking for some of the stuff that has captive washers and I'm not finding sources that sell small quantities. There are some sources that mention "SEMS" (as in pre-assembled?) as a catch name for the hardware with the captive washers, but that name isn't consistently applied. I'm looking for a source that lists by size, pitch, and length. Not by application. Something like M8 x 1.25 x 25mm long with captive lock and flat washers. Not "seat hold down bolts for a 98 Subaru". I found some stuff on ebay, but ther…

Found a NOS Series I owners manual on ebay. After winning the bid, I re-read the description and discovered it was actually a Nissan re-print from 1997 for their re-build program. It didn't take long to read through its 40 pages. Chuckled when I considered my 2015 Mazda 6 owner's manual was over 600 pages long, with a smaller font, and warranty and service info printed in separate documents. However, I found what appears to be typos in the Z's manual. Was wondering if anyone with an original manual could verify whether Nissan erred in 1997 or whether the errors also appeared in the original. Specifically, on Page 15, the rightmost panel text describes the horn butt…

Hello All! I signed up here last September when I found, and bought, my 1971 240Z, and I have been an avid reader of this site ever since. I'm one of those guys that keeps quiet until the light at the end of the tunnel starts to show, and I haven't been posting anything about my project over the past year. Still, I couldn't have made the progress I have without all the information I've gotten, mostly from this place. My car was in terrible shape; in hindsight, it would have probably been considered a parts car by many. Ignorance was bliss, because even though it has been a lot more work and expense that I anticipated, it has been worth it. I'm glad I didn't know eno…
