Pulled the trigger and have a Bendpak XPR-9 on the way. Looking for the best lift points under there or if someone has a picture of there car on a lift would be great. If anyone has experience lifting one let us know. Thanks.

Just bought this 1972 Datsun 240z : 1972 Datsun 240Z Longmont, Colorado | Insight Automotive I am planning on carrying out a tune up including a change of oil, spark plugs, etc. Anybody know which of these internet websites can provide me a physical catalogue with pictures where i can choose the parts i want such as: Oil Filter Oil drain plug washer Nissan Spark plugs OEM stock plug wires Distributor cap Distributor rotor pcv valve Air Filter Fuel Filter Valve cover gasket WHat else will i need to get the tune up complete?

Ok, so I just recently purchased my first Z. It's a 1977 280z (and what is believed to be a "ZAP" edition) I paid $800 for her, she runs fairly well for a '77 and drives OK. The issues: She is rusted.. roof has spots all over, rust along the top of the hatch glass, large rust spot behind the passenger side "little glass" , rear passenger fender, and worst of all the frame, which is pretty bad.. the floor pans, engine bay, spare tire area, wheel wells, and battery spot all seem to be ok from what I've seen. Hi everyone, I have decided I can't epoxy my choke mechanism to my console any further and am after a NOS Series 2 console. I just missed one on ebay so and JDM Parts is sold out so if anyone has one available in NOS or NOS condition would you please let me know? I have always had an insane love for alfa GTV's. I have been thinking of selling the Z and picking up an Alfa GTV 1750 or 2000. I know the all the drawbacks and tradeoffs. I know the history. I just cannot get it out of my system, and I cannot have two cars at once. I figure if I sold the Z for a fair price, I could save up for a year and then find a very good condition GTV. I know there are parts catalogs out there. Does anybody have any experience with the mythologically beautiful cars to tall me, HELL NO, it is a mistake? I adore my Z. Love driving it. Got my car freshly painted at the body shop and all was looking great. I then took it to the mechanic shop to get my engine put back in. However, before it could go back it, we found a piece of wood and bondo in the floor pans. So upon taking off the mastic out of the interior, this is what was found.... Not happy that this is still on my car after the it was repainted but I couldn't be happier that Gary found it for me and will be fixing it for me. I will be even happier when my Z is completely rust free. I guess my interior upgrades will have to wait a little while before I get to them.

I have a 280ZX F54 block I want to put into a 71Z. What mounts do I use? Is there 2 or 3 parts to each mount? Do I use the bracket and insulator or do I have to use the bracket, the insulator and the stopper between the bracket and insulator. Thank you, TimsZ

I used the search but couldn't find a real answer to it. When I drive with the windows closed there's no fuel smell in the interior, but when I drive with the windows down there's a smell of fuel... I have to say it is less now with the new rebuild carburetors, but I can still smell it. Does it come from the engine bay ?

i just brought home a 1973 240z. i was parked outside for about 1 year. i got it to start and it runs good. now starts as soon as you turn the key. though im having some issues with a few things. the glove box is locked and i didnt get the key for it. the hatch lock wont unlock.(i broke my spare key trying to unlock it) so i need guidance opening those and making the brakes stronger.(barely any stopping power) i would like to take out the emissions control crap if i can. the dash lights do not light up. thank you in advance
