Came across this video this morning. Shows what an old 240Z can be if it can make it through the years without wearing out or being modified. I think they call cars like these survivors. I'm not selling or advertising. This guy posts a lot of videos of his highly modified 240Z over on Hybridz.

Hello mates It looks as if in the near future I will be moving down to Georgia - Savannah to be exact - for a job. A couple questions, any thing I need to know about registering my Z down there? Do they do emissions? Anything I need to know about keeping a Z (and maybe a 620 later on) down south. Thanks Jan

I am wanting to get one of these cars. As my username says i am a BMW fan. I know a lot about the E30 BMW and the S motors. However i have always liked these cars ironically a S30. Well what im wanting to know is what are the common issues of these cars? And i also saw a Z that i thought was absolutely gorgeous. http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/2010/10/05/09/00/1973_datsun_240z-pic-7827081713729940921.jpeg What are those fenders? I cant get one of these just yet unless i find one with no engine.

Not sure if the fellow who did this site is one of us, but I couldn't find mention of this. Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge I wouldn't mind having one of these things to see how the ratio changes in real time. I've got some sort of gauge housing that appears to attach to the door frame or something (currently not installed) that I could put it on. I really don't know how to describe it better, I've frankly never seen another before. I'll take a picture for you guys when I can.

Well, I have been thinking how I am going to hook up a decent sound system in the Z. I figured 2 speakers in the back where they go, and then two speakers right behind the seats where those storage bins are. Then my bass would go were the spare tire goes with the amps behind the seats. Though, does anyone know if someone has created a box to hold a sub in the wheel well? I would need to draw up my own blue prints, but if someone else has already done it I could just steal theirs. Anyone know of someone who has done this and has pictures or prints online?

Haven't been on site in a while and not sure if this has been shared or not but if not here it is. Kinda cool to see a 240z on the list of cars growing in value. Yahoo!
