I need help with the early 70-71 choke cable grommet reproduction, if anyone could let me know the length of the two nipples which the wires come out and if the nipples are coming straight out or are they angled up? This is a pic of what I need a measurement of, the two nipples that are joined. Any help would be great or even pictures. thanks Steve I have the nipples machined out, just need the length and angle.

really like what I have read so far. The forum seems great... fairly laid back, friendly, and helpful. Hopefully I will be able to add some knowledge at some point. This is my first Z, shes fast asleep waiting for spring, and Im just trying to read as much as I can. Im stuck in the middle east for a bit longer, and seeing all of your beautiful cars is agony since I havent even got to touch mine yet. At least hopefully with what I learn from all of you I will have a better understanding of the direction I want to take mine. -drew

Just started digging into latest Series 1 purchase and found a small plywood tag with wire hooked onto small hole at top. This was under spare tire. Front face looks like this Did not think much of it. But as I dug deeper into car's identification, I realized this tag is original to this car. My VIN matches 3rd row number The original color is 907 Racing Green which matches 4th row number. Even though PO painted it black, you can tell it was Racing Green as seen here The car is automatic which must be what the first row is saying. And export destined for USA The back of the tag looks like this 8/21 must be paint date as this car has 08/70 production date I …

Hey guys, not sure what kind of price to put on this. Just need a ball park on how much I should get. all work was performed within the past year ive driven it. It was my DAILY DRIVER while I tt swapped my z32. I ran this car for over a year rain or shine and starts up everytime. I've invested over 5k into this short project. I dont expect anything near that, but would like a guesstimate on what i can sell it for. Everybody knows the problem: it's really hard to drive away without flooring it right away and having a wheelspin. I lubed everything, I adjusted the play, even did the bellhousing modification, that helped a little, but still I have problems driving away normally. What's the problem here ? It's driving me crazy..

Hi again, Does anybody have a recommendation for a roof mounted bike rack that will work on a 1972 240Z? I need to haul 2 adult bikes. Since this car has louvers on it I can't use the kind that go on the back of the vehicle. Thanks a lot.
