I am about to buy 2 indoor dust covers and was wondering what everybody else is using. Black Dragon or MSA, or some other I haven't seen? Thanks for any replies.

I stumbled across this new music video. The song sucks and it's a weird video, but there's a 240 in it! It's clean, not sure about the underglow kit on it, but whatever. Glad to see the Z's are rocking the music scene!

Last year I purchased a Caswell copy cad kit. We'll after ignoring it for the better part of a year I fired it up. Its a little temperamental but I got decent results. And I didn't have a large plating bill. Its nice being able to restore the fastenersas well.

This is not Z related but does contain an interesting caution for international shipping of autos. European buyers of Z's from the U.S. come to mind. International Shipping - Mercedes-Benz Gullwing | Hagerty Articles

Recently purchased a silver 1972 Z that is bone stock - . I've owned Zs before and know that the front end gets a little light at higher speeds, so I want to add a BRE-style spook to the front. Both of my previous Zs also had a BRE-style rear spoiler. The more I look at this car and others on this site without a rear spoiler, I like the clean lines of the rear of the car without the rear spoiler. So . . . what would be the net effect of a spook in front and a clear rear end? Are front and rear spoilers a package deal aerodynamically?

While checking to see if the motor mounts were good on a 73 240z automatic we held the brake and then pressed down a bit on the gas pedal (kind of like a power brake but not so much gas). The motor did not rock so that was good, the weird thing we noticed was the gas pedal stayed down to the point it was pressed. When the brakes are released the gas pedal comes back up. We have tried many times to repeat the process and every time it is the same, the gas pedal stays down to the point it was pressed until the brake is released. Has anyone else seen this before?

I am in need of a 76 2+2 filler tube (not really sure that the 2+2 matters). Also, could use a fuel pump mount (not sure what it is called but has the rubber around the fuel pump). Trying to fix prior to going to painting in about 1-2 weeks. Thanks.

My car got disassembled for paint by the previous owner. Windows are out and the doors are gutted but still hung. Guides and c pillar Window are off too. . Do I fit the latches first and adjust the striker and put in seals second or am I better off reassembling the door internals off the car and then re hanging?

My 77 280 has a strange idle issue when warming up. Start up is perfect, fires right up. Idles around 1200 rpm until it starts to warm up. During it's warm up the idle will slowly drop to around 500 rpm and then, as it warms up more (towards operating temp) it slowly increases to 800-900 rpms. This is every time. Iv'e checked for vacuum leaks at every connection I could think of but I'm not convinced its vacuum related. I sprayed starter fluid around the throttle body and anywhere I think there could be a vacuum leak while its idling low and found nothing. Im not sure where to go next. Any advice? Thanks I should also add that I checked for linkage binding and found none.

I am looking for a couple of washer motors (not working). I am actually looking for the rubber housing around the motors. Thanks in advance if you can help me with this project.

I have a '71 240z, does anyone have the bolt sizes for both the front and rear bumpers ? My car didn't have any when I bought it and I've just recently scored both. Wow, not much protection there, .
