The subject of who designed the 240Z is pretty well defined, by I was wondering if there is anyone in particular that designed the 280Z. It's probably a group of guys that just improved or developed the earlier one, but I'm sort of particular about my preferred model of S30. thxZ

Well, I haven’t been here for a couple months, and there’s a good reason, I up and crashed my Z and have been so sick about it I couldn’t bring myself to go into the garage or come to this site. I was driving the car HARD and it got away from me doing a 180 and leaving the pavement, taking air, and landing on top of a huge bolder that crushed the passenger side rocker and floor pan. The door was spared, but the top of the door sticks out about 3 inches at the top of the window frame. Remarkably the door still opens and closes and the car can still be driven around, I parked it in the garage after SLOWLEY driving it home from the tow yard. There are some suspension p…

Mini Bomber | SeaSucker I've been looking for a way to bring my cycles with me when I move across country. I thought I'd throw this out there for general reference in case others were looking for racks or mounts for recreational equipment. And to see what others on the board think of this design. I'll call on it tomorrow. Thanks for looking. Look up SeaSucker on YouTube also if you want more video footage.

Hey Does anyone know of a aftermarket supplier for front hubs for a 280Z. I have called all the usual places searched forums and googled it and nobody has them. Any help will do as my hub got all messed up when the bearing exploded! I have new bearings just no hub to put it in and the car is sidelined. Thanks,

Hi, I'm getting married here soon, and me and my fiance are going to do engagement pictures. She is well aware of my passion with the Z car and so she suggested why don't we take our engagement pictures with a classic car or datsun. Since neither of my cars is exactly picture worthy, I am reaching out. So if anyone with a nice 240z in the area would let us take some pictures with their car I'd greatly appreciate it. I don't need to drive the car or even hold the keys to it, just want to take some pictures. We have a photographer for this sunday afternoon so that'd be the best time. We could do some shots of the car alone so you can have some nice pictures of your car as …

hello all, my 77 280z recently developed a problem.. i can start it and it runs for about 5 minutes then it shuts off, then i have to wait for 30 minutes or better for it to actually run again. i have been reading online and on the fsm about a transistor ignition module, most of the symptoms of other failed modules match mine to some extent, i have singled it out to a definite spark problem, and the fact that when the car dies i can take a light meter with the car on and try and crank with no signal from the junction box right there on the drivers inner fender by the ign. coil that holds the 2 wires to the distributor, is my theory along the right lines? or am i missing a…

This past Wednesday the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix sponsors had a parade through the city with cars stopping at different locations for a show. If you know Pittsburgh the spots were USX tower, PPG Place, Market Square (where I went) and Point State park. This years mark is Mustang so there were a lot of them in the parade. The main event for Grand Prix is this weekend with cars of all kinds from all over the east showing up. We usually get 6 to 7 S30's and as many as 15 total Z's in the Asia area. Here is a picture on mine at market Sq. Here is a Picture from last year at PPG Place. Hope you all like.
