Hi, I was wondering if I can remove the coolant lines circled in the picture (not my car)? They look to go to the heater which I will be removing soon anyway, but are they needed to circulate the coolant properly? Thanks for the help!

Finally finished fixing the exhaust manifold and re-installing the both mainfolds, the carbs and a new thermostat. No more exhaust leak and she sounds much better. After re-assembly I now have a small ingnition timing issue to figure-out, but it's very minor. So nice to drive her again!

Hey guys, I hope this isn't out of line, but I'm in the process of cleaning out the garage, which includes some Z parts I have. Didn't want you to miss out on these wheels if you want them. Vintage Alloy Wheel Set 4 x 4 5 14 inch 240Z Triumph Others | eBay I put a ridiculously low reserve on them that has already been met, so they will sell. I've also got a pair of door panels (1970-1973 240Z) that I never unwrapped. They were purchased from Motorsports. Retail price on them is about $660, so if you make me an offer I can't resist, I'd like to get these out too. Some other nic/nacks 1. Clutch Master and Slave cylinders 2. OEM Voltage Regular cover (faded/yellowed, …

I'm attempting to bring my 75 280 back to original (or as close as feasible) and have a set of steel wheels for it but they need refinishing. What was the original color of the steel wheels? The ones I have are oxidized black on the face and a rusty silver/grey on the inside (so no help here). Was the original black a flat, satin or gloss? Any idea of a close match to the silver/grey color? The spare is the original Toyo Z 195 tire, but since the balance weight is painted, I believe the prior owner may have refinished the wheel.

So...I just sold a 280zx late model transmission to Al over at Datsun Parts LLC. Funny story, I thought I had an L26 with weber carbs. Turns out I actually had an L28 with weber carbs. No wonder I couldn't figure out why it performed so well. Anyway... He offered me $300 for the long block plus accessories. But those include a working OEM electronic distributor (from the 280z), the alternator, etc. The webers, intake and throttle linkage are now sold (shipping out Friday). How much is a long block plus accessories worth? It was fully working when I parked the car. No smoke, nothing.

I have reconditioned an OEM Harada power antenna for my 1971 240Z including replacement of the mast and it is working properly. Now I need to find a replacement mount nut which has the conical shape and a rubber seal at the top to prevent a recurrence of the prior water damage. I have found a number of replacement antenna kits from Harada and Dorman from which I may source the nut. Does anyone already know of a good replacement before I begin a trial and error approach? Thanks, Mike mslinker@gmail.com
