   Z car ads?

   After perusing several pages of Z car ads, one thing seems to pop up in most of them and that is mileage. I am beginning to wonder if a lot of folks and dealers in particular don't realize the odo turns over at 99,999. About 80% of all the ads show odo readings of 20 to 60K miles, are there really that many Z's with low mileage? Hmm makes me wonder!

   I was playing with my son this rainy afternoon and he picked up his latest hot wheel that I found him. A first gen RX7 with a LeMan Body kit in blue. Just a beautiful car from any possible angle. Has that great quirky silky rotary. I was wondering if any of you ZED heads have ever owned a first GEN RX7 and what are you thoughts. The oldest one is some 8 years newer than my car. Just curious. Not seriously thinking of selling the Zed, but I am thinking a first Gen RX7 would be a very fun first car for my oldest boy.

   Do they all run hotter than 280's? Mine doesn't have the belly pan or the fan shroud my 280 has, I figured that was the reason, temp gauge needle sits on the "F". That's not too hot is it? Was on the right leg of the "M" in TEMP until I put in a new water pump and thermostat. 2nd question, why is one of the two 1/2" pipes coming out the back of my breather box tapped up? The other goes to the valve cover. Thanks for any replies.

    hi folks, i thought I would start a new thread with a better, more searchable title. someone made a good point earlier. title should be helpful to people looking for info. previous thread on beginning of my little refurbishing project on my 72 240z was http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/thread48085.html, aka, "going to try a new thread". anyhow, worked a little tonight on pulling the rest of rear end apart. looks like the diff needs some new seals, ordered some new struts and springs also. take a look at the photos, let me know if you see anything i might have missed. see the very dead shocks. also, shot a little vid in the garage also. does anyone have an ide…

    Shifter Pivot Bushing

    I know I'm probably making this hard but I hate to break a perfectly good shifter pivot bushing. Anyone know the correct way to get this off without breaking it. Its the plastic cup type bushing at the bottom of the shifter in a 5 speed. (Goes over the little pivot ball end) Its from a later 5 speed. (Probably 79-81) Thanks for any words of wisdom.

    So i murderd my 78 280z and i can't save it. If there is anybody in the texas area illfind out where its going the motot is at 69k and great interior And all but the left side is good mas header ,coustom pipe ,speaker box I'm going a diffrent route a 300zx tt but i want ppl to know there are good Parts out there sorry this is on my phone so not the best post.
