Interesting to compare this review - with the Personality of your 240Z. I don't believe I've ever heard anyone say that they were bored with their 240Z. In effect I think the owner of this BRZ is really just talking about the "fun" of Driving. Something we all feel that the 240Z offers just as much today as it did when it was new. FWIW, Carl B.

Hey all, hope this link works! Here's a nice zed for sale in Kelowna BC. I've admired this car for a while now, I see it occasionally when I return home to Kelowna. Too bad I don't have the cash at the moment! http://vancouver.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1973-Datsun-240-Z-W0QQAdIdZ402749411

I installed the Honda heater blower motor today. For those of you who have not done this, WOW! What a difference.

Hey everyone, I am new to the site but have been a long time follower of your blogs and threads. I recently acquired a RHD fairlady z from Japan. I don't know much about the cars history besides that it was stored indoors for a long time in a temperature controlled storage and was owned by a marine in the 80s. Anyways, I was just wondering if there is anything I should worry about when trying to run this car again after 20+ years of sitting? I have searched the forum and gotten the engine to run from a gas can with a new fuel pump, but was wondering how bad the gas lines will be since there was still gas in the car? Can I just clean those out and replace necessary hoses?…

Morning all , i am in the midst of installing my new 6-1 ceramic header that was delivered last week and I have everything off and now I want to clean the manifolds and fuel rail to look like factory . I could polish out with power tools and paste , although all I want is to clean them up and make to look new . Any suggestions are always appreciated . thankz Chris

Came across 75 Fairlady Z 2+2. It is in horrible condition unfortunately, and it does not have a title, so I will most likely just use it for parts. Anyway is there a place where i can get technical specs on this car? It's definitely been tinkered with in Japan, it has a F.E.T manifold, tripple webers, and what looks like fujitsubo exhaust (twice pipes all the way to the back), but it still has the L20, the head is E88?? I thought they ran E30 heads? The transmission is 5 speed?? Does anyone know of a spec sheet on fairladies from factory? Thanks!

I have this 78 I'm parting out and yesterday I started pulling the windshield. I was debating on whether to bother keeping the windshield since it had a couple chips in it. But I figured if I could get it out as one piece I could probably just have those chips sealed and at least have a decent back up, just in case. Worked on that damn thing for over an hour, pealing the glue here, pealing the glue there, gentle prying, so on and so forth. I got all the glue freed, or at least I thought, and could get each side out about an inch and just as I'm trying to peel that rubber surround out a little further I hear a "ping". Look and dammit if it didn't crack diagonally almo…
