hey folks, glad to join the CZCClub. Although new here I have many years with my 280Z. Some Ahole tried to pry my outside mirror off and broke the mirror base. I have had no luck getting a replacement anywhare. Can anybody help me locate a good used parts store or new. thanks riq

I was wondering what the difference was between strut bars versus sway bars? Could I put both on? Or are they the same thing? Would it be practical to put them both? Thanks.

I checked the archives but did not see the needed info.....Yes my z is a FrankyZvette but a Z no less. I just replaced the A/C compressor, it is a Sanden 508 type unit/very generic, my question is , the shop that did the recharging only put 1.5 lb of the proper freon, the evacuated the system and because there are no specs on the unit they only fill to 1.5 lb , it works but the old noisy unit felt a lot colder, any ideas to make it ice cold :disappoin

I sent an email to Antennamastsrus.com to inquire if they had a source for a replacement mast, knowing that they probably wouldn't. I have exchanged emails with them and they are interested in making a replacent mast. Mine is in very good condition except the plastic cable is broken, and they need a good donor. They said it may take up to 6 months and I would not get my mast back, but they would give me a couple of replacements. Should I risk it? Has anyone ever dealt with this company? I sent decals to Banzai for him to reproduce and never had any problems. Should I risk one for the team?? ernest

I already have the heater hose grommets for my 240z, but I can't seem to find the other grommets that are located at other places on the firewall. I believe there are 2 more grommets besides the heater hose ones. One is for the choke cables and the other is for electrical wires. Does anyone have the Nissan part numbers for these grommets?

My nephew's 240z windows don't operate. He got a hold of scrap doors with the regulators still intact, but just couldn't manage the swap. Does anyone know a good shop in the Washington, DC area where he might get the work done for him? Thanks.

I don't put too much into the cosmetics of my cars. I try to keep up mechanically and electrically, and that's pretty much it. My 73 once received a 3rd place trophy at a show. Yeah, there were only 4 S30s present. You should have seen the rolling collection of rust that was the 4th car. Anyway, I was at Caffeine & Octane yesterday. It's incredible how many great cars show up month after month. I was hanging out with some people from this board & some Georgia Z Club members through the show. I was wondering from expert/experienced opinion, which upgrades should I get first? I want to do this in the right order so I don't regret getting one upgrade before/after another. My neighbor was kinda enough to think of me when he was scanning the funny pages in the newspaper a few weeks ago. I liked it so much I had it laminated so I could hang it at my desk at work. After a good search on Google I could not find this comic online so I scanned it and wanted to share it with everyone. I think its pretty cool. Enjoy!
