Do you know of any supplier for a smooth finished windshield rubber gasket? I'm trying to get rid of the chrome strip without having an empty channel. Thanks, Kevin

I am looking for a front AMCO Overrider bar (with hardware) for a 1973 240Z. My preference of course is for one in excellent condition with no dings or damage. Will also consider a bar that needs re-finishing however. Is it possible that there is some NOS within the Nissan dealer network in the U.S. ? Does anyone know the part number for the 1973 front overrider bar ? * I also posted this in the wanted section of the classifieds but thought it more prudent to enquire about the part number here.

I've replaced the quarter window seals, glass to frame and frame to body and put them back in the car, ther is now a gap between the window and the interior plastic panel. Any ideas on how to fix it? It's looks like crap with that gap around it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since both of my Z cars are in a fairly stable states now #knocks on wood#, I decided to make them sound and feel more like, or rather, less like, a tin box of bolts. I am writing today, about this months long journey, to summarize my path to success, that was achieved today. One must first understand that I do have a mildly stiff setup in both cars, with poly bushings everywhere, low profile tires, and choppy roads. Oh, and no radio. It's a recipe for rattle and creak. Little by little I have had great success in chasing most of the creaks away. 1) Back-coating the plastic interior panels with spray undercoating. 2) Grease all the plastic rivets upon reassembly. 3) Sn…

I will finally finish my grad school and start my full time job this June. This means that I got to move from Starkville, MS to Detroit, MI and my Z is not exactly in drivable condition right now. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with car shipments over long distances, or if anyone can suggest a good company to use for this. Thanks
